- Since my early childhood I was fascinated from every kind of ships. In 2017 my dream came true to buy a small vessel ... a Leisure 17. In 2018 I started to refit her and finished in 2019. Cause of COVID-19 she came back into her element in 2021.
bei 12:27 sehe ich einen Stolzen Mann und er hat allen Grud dazu! Geniale Arbeit!
Fantastic!! I went thru the same process rebuilding a Catalina 22..

Thx a lot for your warmly comment, cheers
Super 1A
😮 very good job!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!! I've found one in about the same condition. Cost 3500€ inclouding an old trailer. Do you consider them a lot or not?
Hi, I bought it in in a poor condition....the cost for the leisure, the trailer and an old gas outboarder was 1200,--- € and I invested round about 2 k excl. the new e-propulsion. Cheers! Alex
hi, can you list each of the paint types you used? i.e. starting at the top, which white paint did you use for the cabin top, and deck??
Hi John, I will produce a small vid. about the materials. At the moment I'm a little bit busy, sorry, cheers
Good job 👍 How much time did you spent on it? I bought same boat last week 🙂
Hi Jan, thank you for your praise... the complete refit took me more than a year. I didn´t count the hours exactly. So ... roll over in my head... 7 months working only on weekends, average working days a month 6, in total 42 days ... maybe a little bit more ... it could have gone faster, because this was my first boat project and I had to learn step by step. At the end ... it was worth every day and I would do it again, cause every ride makes me happy! Go on with your project - you will love and hate it, ;-) cheers!
Wow super Arbeit!
You used Coppercoat- how many Liters? You’re a lucky guy to have a shed to work in, believe me!! (L23 owner)
Hi Robert, thank`s for your appreciation, I used 2 cans with 0,75 liter of coppercoat ... unfortunately, I no longer have the shed, cause we have moved ... but I´m looking for a new one for upcoming projects ;-)
What about the keel bolts?
Hi Ryan, sorry for my delay... the bolts were in a good condition, so I don't take any action, cheers
Fantastic. I have a fin keel version, Moonraker, desperately needing similar attention. have most of thenecessary bits just now need the time to do it.
