William, I have one thing to say. Holy S _ _ _! I'm glad you hired the crew to bring the boat to Thailand. You have one hell of a boat now. As I have said to you before, this is the boat you have dreamed of. Now take that beautiful wife of yours (you lucky dog) and sail the world.
Wow, William I'm surprised you hired a captain and crew. I can only imagine the vetting that went into the decision and these captains should be very proud that you chose them, that takes a lot of trust. As always stay safe and God bless
Terrific story, especially the Yellow Fever part. Amazing they got through as these shots don't work instantaneously ! That hydro locking thing is really crazy. I've heard a number of ways it can happen and I think its bad engineering when it does.
I've heard that Thailand people are typically very kind and honest but, based on the events and challenges of the journey, the 3 crew you hired to sail your Tiger seem to be extra brave and highly talented. I think you are very fortunate to have found these special people! Congrats to all for a successful journey! 👍❤️🙏
So happy for you guys and very proud that the South African built vessel suited your Taste and will be watching with pride at your choice!!!!!!!!!Wishing you only the very best and many safe sea miles to go!!!!!!!!
Unbelievable journey with so many challenges. Thank goodness for your two highly skilled captains. If you had a hydraulic lock on one of your engines when water backed up through the exhaust, are you going to have to do an engine rebuild? I love learning from you folks, and at the same time, I wonder if I should ever leave the dock again. The best to you and I look forward to more videos. Please post more frequently.
Thank God 🙏 no pirates, and they made it safely, 😱 omg its just crazy what breaks 😭 on any ⛵ boat all of the time, look at sailing doodles brand new cat, total loss doing the same thing you were, your a helluva person William and your special wife God Blessn you 🙏 both 💕
Lol definately another reason for re rigging with Dynema .... You can carry a roll or made up spares in a dark locker and its a hell of a lot lighter in exactly the right place and stronger than Steel also cheaper and with the right bits replacable anywhere .. no problem with crevice corrosion as in Stainless.
they went to war to bring her home they should have pulled injectors and get salt out or if not able special puller then fill to the brim with oil water works its way down hope shes not to damaged i dont think the starter would bend a rod KEEP EM COMING
You guys still in Tanzania🎉 you should try to pick up some tanzanite Stone. Only found in tanzanite mountain one of the rarest and most expensive stones on the market nowadays if you get some wholesale over there whenever you get back to the States you're looking at triple the price. Just some friendly advice...
There are three channels building Al cats.. Delos, Plucky and the Barefoot doctors. Plus some friends of the Doctors are having one built in Vietnam next to Plucky s boat.
Their SABA was is a standard Production GRP boat with no forward internal helm and not built like this boat or as amenable to being modified to their personal requirements.. Williams is an inventor engineer and he knows what he wants from this boat and how he will do it. 😉🧙🏼♂️
Big Mack trucks used to have air starters. One truck cranked up beside me and someone could hear it for 1/4 mile. A good backup for cruisers would be an air starter. If you can turn a diesel over it will run.
@@jackdbur Many cruisers have aqualungs that they refill with 3000psi air. These are small aluminum tanks and compressors they already have but they need a regulator.
Hello Many have asked for details that are considering buying a boat abroad or challenge of getting a boat from one place to the other. The good thing with TH-cam is one can shut it off or go elsewhere if the content is not what you like. Thank you for the comment Capt W
I love you guys, but you are compulsive boat rebuilders. It is a disease that I share with you. Promise that this one is going to be the last one for at least 18 months!!

Well if William didn’t die from this transport he will live forever. Lots of lessons learned. Wise choice to hire it out.
So why did you get a new boat
