That's what I call her around my friends. Lani and Regine were given their monikers, because those two birds are known for the sounds they produce. I'm not sure why Mori is called the phoenix. Does it have something to do with the throat operation she got and the fact that she overcame that, etc.? Anyway, regarding Katrina... I call her my dragon, since dragons are known to be legendary, giant, fire-breathing creatures, with above-average intelligence. I just think that Katrina's intelligent note choices in each of her legendary and fire-breathing performances remind me of a dragon. Including the fact that dragons are mystical, unique creatures in folklore; there's nothing like it. Just like Katrina... There's no one like her either. I truly believe that she has all the talent to be a giant star in the international music industry. I know my moniker for her is too long. I really just wanted to share. Good luck on your search. I don't know... Saying "fire dragon" doesn't automatically connect to singing or music. People hearing it for the first time might think it's a Chinese character or something. With Regine or Lani, foreigners hearing Asia's "nightingale" or "songbird" instantly get it after hearing their monikers for the first time. I really hope Katrina can be given a description worthy of her talent.
