I've had great luck at John's Lake in Central Florida near Clermont. I've seen some monster bass pulled out of there.

i live in saint augustine fl and i have been fishing every pond i can find for years.lucky my job takes me all over the state for insurance work and i have had a blast every time.and when its a new lake i get so excited because let me tell you people there are some monsters down here. and i recently caught my first double
I am!!! NC has had a few warm days. Tomorrow is back to rain and cooler temps. Lows of 45 and mid day temps mid to high 50’s until next week.
Harris Chain is Extremely PRESSURED! You have to slow down. Use Senkos & Speedworms if you are not getting a reaction bite. Find grass transitions of different grass and pad points.

The grinding noise is 100% lower unit... Not only do you gotta broken prop, but def didn't change the lower unit oil a couple of times during break-in and may have a bent prop shaft from hitting whatever hard enough to break a fin off of your prop.... Lessons learned for being a boat owner.
I’ve fished the chain a couple times before you gotta flip heavy in those reads with some lunker logs lol
Always had good luck ripping crankbaits through the grass areas out in the middle of the lake. Either bluegill or baby bass color.

My parents live off of lake Eustis. I always have good luck with squarebill, spinnerbaits, trick worms along that grass around the lake.
LOJO. YOU'RE IN FLORIDA. BLUEGILL COLORS! My biggest success down here has been on bluegill zingers and z man spinner baits, trailer hooks are important or a properly matched swimmer on the back, gill colored crank baits, then black and blue, and some natural colored plastics. The frog gets dirty in certain areas too.

Black and blue been the juice here in Florida lakes especially the bandito bug and Jack hammer with black and blue trailer!
what you guys need to do is park on the side of 75south pull over to the lakes you see and hit them lakes .be careful though there are also some angry gators as well

Lol. I live on Lake Eustis. That boat ramp is right down the road from my house. Lol. I can walk to ferran park in a few minutes and often do.

Here in Florida if you ever go again you got to slow it down your going way to fast reel slower then normal cover more ground they will go crazy
Badger is real skilled at both drone and reversing with trailer 👍🏼
Lake Seminole in pinellas county had some big ones in the thick cover so you can punch every bit of it
I’m local, lake griffin and beauclair are the juice. White chatterbait with whit bandito trailer. Also Junebug speed worm
U need to get some owner flashy swimmers to pair up with the saucy swimmers. If u keep a rod rigged up with that set up, u will always catch a fish even on the toughest of days. Day or night, hot or cold a fish will bite it. Never underestimate an underspin in any condition.
Lake micasucki just outside Tallahassee has got huge bass and 2 lb shellcrackers and they're easy to catch
Eustis Tip: haynes creek. I have fished tourneys here a few times and had my best luck in this area, no action at the gator hole.

You should visit the Winter Haven chain of lakes. 16 interconnected lakes!
There is also lots of other good lakes around Orlando like crooked lake, we went there 2 weeks ago and caught 2 sevens and 1 eight
I personally during that time slow down and fish way less aggressive during that time of year.

Closest I have come to fishing Harris chain is Lake Apopka. I usually stay down near Lake TOHO and East Lake TOHO but I have only just started Kayak fishing those so I don’t have any secret spots for you but if you need a third guy in the boat hit me up.
You need to fish lake Ashton in central Florida near Orlando, I caught A Nine pounder and my grandfather caught a 13, you will catch Mondos
The bandito bug works good in Florida Texas rigged or on a jig
Y’all gotta go to lake Seminole and lake talquin my avg finish in turnys is 5 on Seminole and my brothers caught 30 pounded in talquin by him self
They just had a big tournament there also some 250 anglers

Man that Eustis boat ramp is 3 min from me! Wish I would have known you would be around. There has been ALOT of pressure on the fish with a large amount of tournaments and local anglers lately. I’ve had better luck finding them offshore, especially the big ones. Enjoy Florida brother and good luck to you
