- Welcome to our own island for 24 hours and wow did it exceed all of our expectations! It was a slightly more difficult journey than we had anticipated but it really was all worth it! Around 1 hour from El Nido Town is the Port of Teneguiban, from there you can take a really short 10 minute boat ride to the most beautiful island ever and spend your day with Betty the PIG! This feels like the BAHAMAS of the Philippines!

Awesome that you guys stayed in a nipa hut type accommodation on that lovely island though yours had wooden floors. The real kind would have bamboo slats w/ a little space in between them to cool its occupants from beneath in the hot, humid climate of the Philippines. Great video guys! Cheers!

There are actually 3-4 resorts on that island. Dryft being the "luxury" one but priced around the same as Isla

When we were going out of town to stay several days in an island, we used to buy big block of Ice, wrapped it with clothe. Upon reaching the beach, we will dig a hole in the sand to bury the Ice Block together with soft drinks and beers. Whenever we need drinks, we'll get it where we bury the Ice. Imagine, we were leaving already after 3 days but still a big chunk of Ice was still there in that hole where we bury the Ice. That's a clue based on my experience.
