First time I saw them was when they played with legendary Saint Vitus, and couldnt help myself to see them perform at least 10 more times. Was one time where they were closing a venue and roses were tossed onto the stage in respect, Bought 5 copies of this album to share with my pals.
It's good sure, but I would say Bell Witch and Black Capricorn were on par with their recent forrays, and Somali Yacht Club is like the best new doom metal band period.
Electric Wizard, but if it's the female vocal element you like, check out: Acid King Jess and the Ancient Ones Windhand Lucifer Purson (Purson is not necessarily Doom, more psych/folk/rock.)
