Content creation reminds me a lot of stand-up comedy. You have to be okay with getting out there, putting yourself on the line, and totally feeling like you aren’t nailing it (while probably not nailing it for a good while). I’m not built that way. I’m extremely shy. But I do admire people who are built to take those risks.
I love the Q & A! I also love the brutal honesty. The odd thing is that people will follow you and want to criticize. Such an odd phenomenon. I always find your content entertaining!
Can the 3 of you do a collaboration video using each other's makeup bags or doing each other's makeup or comparing or something when you, Samantha and Heather go on your trip?
You know, I'd love to see you talk about your favorite concealers. Cause I'm also in the 30s age range, and the fine lines are coming in and starting to make my favorite concealer nonviable. And with heading into a tight budget this year, I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts!
Hey Engelica, it's great to hear that you were able to turn your channel around. I've been watching your videos daily for about 6 months after youtube recommended me one of your videos. I think it was a more commentary one which is what i tend to enjoy. Glad I found you!
I really love how open and honest you are Angie. You are never rude when sharing your view on anything. Side note, could anyone suggestions a cool toned blush? Hope everyone has an amazing day!!
Today I got the Rose Inc cream lip and blush in Ophelia that is really pretty and refillable. I'm into cream blush at the moment. I'm cool toned but super fair so it kind of depends on your skin colour. I tend to go for the pinker blushes as I'm cool toned with a pink undertone and bright blue eyes. Pat McGrath makes beautiful blushes, Nymphette is amazing, it has a slight gold pearl in it, just enough to warm you up a tiny bit and it builds beautifully. Another great option is the Lunar Beauty first blush palette.
@meshenda78 Thank you so much for the recommendations!! I am light neutral with green eyes. I tend to do a lot of warm tones looks bc that is my comfort but I want to try and do cool tones eye looks and I’m looking for cooler tone blushes.
To make it quick I'm 44 and am just now getting into makeup. It started out so innocently looking up a video because I was looking for pointers for my hooded eyes and now it's my main content. And I don't wanna talk about how much I've spent. 🤣But I'm REALLY ENJOYING MYSELF! Makeup is so much fun! One thing I've noticed is that most people are more advanced than me and either skip over the basics or only show technique when they're trying something new. Any advice on where to go for the basics? Like, should I just use eyeshadow primer or do you put powder over it? I've seen it different ways. If makeup were school I would be a kindergartener. I need it way dumbed down.
Hey! I’m a makeup artistry student. Sometimes it depends on the eyeshadow formula you’re using so I would say when you have the chance, try doing one eye with a set eye base and the other without and compare to see what looks the best and what held up the best! it can be easier to blend certain formulas when there is already a powder or shadow that is close to your skintone over top, but others will blend better when there is some tackiness left from not setting it down! I usually don’t set mine completely anymore, but I used to when I was starting out because I felt it gave an easier blend. I also feel like it helps to prevent creasing if you do set your base! I have dry skin though and find it makes my eyelids look super dry if I do that now. so lately I just have been setting the inner area of my eye where I get the most creasing and leave the outer corner and lid tacky, that’s also what I find works best on most people I have done makeup on! But usually as long as you blend enough, it doesn’t make much of a difference. Hope this is helpful somehow. I don’t think Angi sets her eye primer, but I could be wrong. Just do some little makeup experiments and see what works best for you❤
Robert Welch has great, in-depth tutorials here on TH-cam, and so does Alexandra Anele. I also have hooded eyes, and I've learned a lot from both of them. Keep having fun!
Don't feel bad. I'm in 1st grade. I am learning by watching Angie and a very few select content creators. But Angie definitely helps on color combos and application
@@cheryljoaquin6023 Yes!! totally agree about both of them! Alex has amazing tutorials, she’s creative and she’s so chill to watch. Her hooded eye tutorials taught me more than my own makeup school did lol. and Robert is so talented as well and really knows his stuff! Great recommendations (:
I would love to see a video about how you improved your channel! I love that you have your dad’s nose to remember him by. 🙂 I think it’s a good nose and suits you well! I have started using the maybelline concealer that you like, and I like it, too! Also started using the sky high maybelline mascara (ulta had a buy two get one deal, so I also bought the 3-in-1 instead of trying the elf stuff everybody’s talking about). I like the mascara a lot, but it’s taken a week or so for it to dry out enough.
Loved this video, especially the part about having your dad's nose. I have my mum's nose and I never thought of it that way, now I will smile whenever I look in the mirror and feel close to her thanks to you x
I think you are an extraordinary person!! Keep being you. ♥️♥️♥️ Can you link the videos regarding your breast augmentation? I've been seriously considering it. As I have severe back issues and extremely large breasts. My mother had it done, with some complications. So I'm quite leary of it. I'd love to hear your story. Thanks either way. ♥️♥️♥️
Not to be parasocial about it, but videos like this make me really happy. I feel like even though like you said in this video, we see only glimpses of what you want to share, it helps us get to understand you better and I think that’s cool
I played WoW when it first came out. My husband and I just started dating (I was 15 he was 16) and it was the most greatest nerdy geeky relationship move. 2 years later and we have a new born baby and Saturday mornings we'd do MC raids with the guild that was in USA (I'm in Australia). Then the pandemic hit and WoW classic released and it was amazing having a 40+ man guild online all the time gaming together, SO GOOD! and this week my husband mentioned how he misses gaming together, and I do miss playing WoW. Just the amount of time you need to put into it can be life consuming, especially if you're in a guild with weekly raid commitments. Still good though.
im watching this really late but as a fellow vegan i have a tip for people struggling with meal prep and such: vegan instagram accounts. there's so many cool people out there sharing their recipes and they are often times super easy too. i always loved cooking but they helped me get even more inspiration for a plant based life style. im happy to share some names if someone encounters this comment haha 😌
Your nose is the go-to nose job result. Maybe except for the ridge under the tip, but that's a small thing. Overall, it's an upturned button nose with good projection and that's what most people want. Even Marilyn Monroe had hers done to look like this. That's why everyone asks if you had it done
My best vegan/vegetarian tip: every dish you can make with meat - you can make with mushrooms or beans. Also makes every one of those dishes quicker and cheaper. Also, everything from coconut tastes better than everything from dairy 👻
When I first started watching your channel I thought maybe you had eastern european heritage as I think Angieschka is like an affectionate nick name for Angelica 😄 But I remember you getting a similar question in a Q&A a long time ago as well :D
Is it Michelle Wang? The fourth girl on the trip? I love her! Have fun on your girls cruise! I came here to see your thoughts on the foundation…now back to video!😊
I maybe the exception of your subscribers, but I truly care about you as I am just that kind of person. I am 53 years old and I really enjoy your channel and have been watching you for a few years. I only watch a few channels but you're the first one I always go to. 😘💜
I'm off to buy the Bondi Sands 1 hour express tanner now!! I've been looking for one that doesn't go orange on me, and that one looks stunning on you!!
Your skin looks great on camera with the foundation and concealer. I almost bought the foundation but my ulta didn't have testers out, just boxes with a printed color on it so I couldn't tell what I'd need. It looks very full coverage too so I don't want to get the wrong shade.
Ohhhhhh your hair is so super gorgeous with that lovely green blouse 💚 I mean your hair is always lovely, but the tones are really complimentary and I love the style of that shirt. 🤩 The Winx palette seems nice. Xo
I’ve been a vegetarian since 1980 (I know….I’m old). People have always asked me…”what do you EAT if you don’t eat meat?!” I always answer, “everything else!”
People tend to forget that all of the delicious things in life (chocolate, cakes, dessert…) as well as all fruits, bread, cheese and whatnots are vegetarian! 😆
My daughter is 9 and an animal lover ..we own a big farm in Nashville Tennessee with chickens ext.... and since she turned 5 she has been vegan on her own...no eggs no cheese or meat period I have to really be creative but she is her own person already I respect that♥️👢♥️
You’re so beautiful! I am digging the green top and nails matching your makeup. I think you have such a cute nose and the fact that your dad passed it on to you is so sweet. My dad gave me his bluey green eyes and we also both have a scar on our chins, both which resulted from getting stitches after fainting in weird ways lol. I love that you are so honest about any work that you’ve had done and also love that you embrace your features and natural beauty. All hail Queen Angi ❤
37:19 Don’t you get reduced/waived tuition at the university your husband works at? I am a faculty at a university, and I know for sure that my spouse and children can get a good discount on tuition. I also know that some universities give a waiver to employee’s spouse and children. It’s worth checking.
I'm mediterranean but live in London and I hope to retire in my beautiful country, Italy. My meal tonight, 2 crumpets topped with cream cheese and smoked salmon and mixed grilled veggies, very yummy! I hope it can help someone to eat something different sometimes :)
Love your channel and I remember when you were “stagnant” as you say. I loved your personal videos about what’s happening in your life but I do recall that at some point I stopped watching you but then I came back last year and have seen every video you’ve put out for the last year. Would love for you to do a video on the history of your channel and how you started growing. Also would love to hear your opinions on gaming culture and the toxicity of online gaming (if you do online gaming). This look turned out beautiful! 😊
I'm from a little island in the Mediterranean so I love that you mentioned that you would love to retire in the Mediterranean. Different regions in different countries would cater for different languages so you'll definitely find an English-speaking area. 😊 And I love that you do you and are real and true. There are too many people who try to portray a fake image. 😁👏
can you try the sugar drizzle rainbow highlighter? It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! It is way better than what we expected from the Natasha denona highlighter!
Last time I researched cruises are so bad for the environment and the cities that you visit struggle because tourists come in and trample the place but don’t spend money because they eat in the ship, but I hope things have improved since then. Maybe there are conscious cruises because I could be about that !!
I look like my mum with my dad's nose and upper lip. My mum had perfect full lips. Mine are nice too, my upper is just a bit smaller like my dad's. 💚💛 💚💛 I have seen the nasty comments and gossip forum threads that you spoke about, and seeing those people take the time to rip down other people makes me feel depressed about humanity. Who would be that mean and horrible? Then I remember that most people are kind, and thoughtful, and empathetic. Most people are not mean. And the people who are horrible to others are just embarrassing themselves and deteriorating their own self-respect, whether they know it or not.
I know i am commenting on this a year or so later but i have too agree with everything 💯💯 it's so mean some of the things people write about @AngelicaNyqvist on these hate / gossip websites 💔 it's very childish that half of these people who write nasty / dishonest things are full grown adults who should know that what they're doing isn't right and that saying something so nasty too someone could make that person feel like they're not good enough or they could start too believe what is being written about them. I think these websites should be banned and that if someone is found too be creating or even promoting these hate / gossip websites should be banned from having any social media accounts. I know this is a ramble 😂😂 but i just wanted too vent because i have been seeing too much bullying / nasty comments about someone who i personally think is a very naturally beautiful woman who not only makes the most amazing videos but also has such a unique personality (which is a good thing) 😍😍
You are so right! If I click on a video to see the makeup. I mainly want to hear about the makeup. So if a creator goes on for too long about other things - I click off. At the same time though, I like to get to know creators but in little bits in between makeup talk lol
Would love a video about how you turned your channel around. I’m one of those that films and films, but editing is where I get stuck a lot. I get super critical about the lighting, sound, my speech, etc. I need to just keep on editing and churn it out. Then change what I can in the future. The tip to not drone on about my personal life is super helpful though. I have 35 subs so keeping the videos to the topic at hand will help me to actually post.
The nose job questions are because your nose is extremely turned up at the tip, turning up the tip of the nose is often preformed by plastic surgeons as some people have noses that turn down too far. I think it’s called a hook nose (not yours, the ones that are extremely turned down). Basically from the front your nostril holes are extremely visible because your nose tip is turned up, whereas most noses you can’t see into the nostrils unless the person looks up. I had also actually wondered if you had a nose job 😅 anyway it’s definitely cuz of the tip, not cuz of the bridge/width. Hope that answers things a bit 😅😋💖 aanyesy I think your SO gorgeous! & lucky to have a nose a lot of people pay for 😸🦋💘🍭
Your makeup looks beautiful! Love the way it came out. And your skin looks radiant! I wonder how this foundation holds up though? Like 8-10 hours later??? That's my only issue with more radiant foundations is they tend to not look great after 5 or 6 hours. And I need it to last a full day.
angelica it's not just on youtube it's everywhere people are just rude and some times really nasty I've noticed it more since covid not that that has any bearing on it xx
I know you always say that you're open to constructive feedback and I finally feel brave enough to share what has been on my mind for a few days. In one of your recent videos you made a joke about how you've been to more US states than most Americans and I was taken aback by it. I know that that this stereotype exists for a reason, because it's 100% true, but I'd like to share my perspective on it. I'm from a very poverty stricken region of the US where most people are looked over/taken advantage of by lawmakers. The reason it's true is often because a large portion of people don't have the resources needed to be able to travel. It's a systemic problem that helps to keep poverty a cycle. Obviously some people just choose to stay in one place and not learn about the rest of the world, but oftentimes it's because people don't have a choice. I know you were just joking around and didn't mean anything by it, but I wanted to share another point of view, especially because I've learned so much from you about your perspective :). I love your channel and hope you read this comment.
Oh I did not in any way mean that to be taken seriously. It's just that every time I talk about the US people say "it's different in the east/south/west/mid/city/countryside and quite honestly I've seen it all and my opinions still stand :) but I'll try and tread more careful. but I also don't want to stop making jokes or saying how I feel on my channel, my experiences are true too :)
@@AngelicaNyqvist I don't want you to stop making jokes either!!! I make similar jokes occasionally too, I have no hard feelings and just wanted to share my opinion just in case it wasn't one you'd heard. 🖤🖤🖤
To me a dinner is meat veggies and starch. My husband doesn't eat like that though so I rarely get those 3 things separate in a meal. We have way more pasta or crock pot things than anything else. I don't typically cook dinner he does so he picks what we have. When I pick it's typically like pork chops, rice and corn or chicken breast, mixed veggies and potatoes or something. I think I'd really really struggle to be vegetarian. My daughter was for a few years though and most of our meals we'd just do a little on the side without putting any meats in it.
Please tell us how you like the Juvias place foundation? I just got some of the new foundation and had to get two colors to get it to match my skin and don’t use an entire face.

Hope you all have an amazing time!!
Beauty, brains, integrity, AND a great sense of humor. This made me love you even more!
Your spontaneity is something I admire most about you.
All mentioned and Wayne Goss, Lisa Eldrige, Smitha Deepak, all classic make up artists.
I would love to see a video about how you improved your channel! I have to say I think the main reason I love your channel so much is because you're so comfortable and genuine with who you are so it seems wild that people think they can say they know who you are better than you do. As always loved the video and the outfit is so cute! 🥰
Thank you for swatching the palette! I thought I needed it until you showed the swatches, then I saw that it was nearly identical to BH's Trending in Tokyo, which I already own (in the newer formula).
I love your honesty when something isn’t working. I really hate hearing complaining about views bc that’s not what I clicked to watch. As always, love your content!
Love the confidence and healthy boundaries you implement. 🎉🎉🎉
Idk how anyone wouldn't like you.. idk how ppl talk badly about you. You are so nice. And so fun. And funny.. and smart and beautiful and I LOVE your makeup. I love that your "older" and Love Colorful makeup. I'm 34 and SAME. thanks for being you and doing you unapologetically.
Thank you so much!!
@@AngelicaNyqvist you're very welcome 🤗
Angie, love your channel and your attitude about your content and makeup. Stay true to yourself. It is very attractive!
A lot of creators often comment about their low under 18 viewership- but we usually sign up with accounts with a higher age so that content doesn’t get blocked! Love you and your videos so much 🥰💗
Good morning Angie! I can't wait to see what you will be trying out and hear your thoughts. You are the reason I'm more comfortable with colorful eyeshadow 😊💜💙🤎🩵🩷💚
Good morning!
You gave me the confidence to continue to wear brightly coloured eyeshadow looks without shame or guilt! I am who I am and I love colour so eff what others might think!
Oooooh those inner corners!! 💜🖤💜🖤
Huge congrats on so many views on your declutter vid! 🙌
Loved this video, especially the part about having your dad's nose. I have my mum's nose and I never thought of it that way, now I will smile whenever I look in the mirror and feel close to her thanks to you x
I think you are an extraordinary person!! Keep being you. ♥️♥️♥️
Can you link the videos regarding your breast augmentation? I've been seriously considering it. As I have severe back issues and extremely large breasts. My mother had it done, with some complications. So I'm quite leary of it. I'd love to hear your story. Thanks either way. ♥️♥️♥️
This was such a fun vid to watch!! I love how open you are and that you don’t care what people think!! Wish everyone was like that!!❤
Can you do a video on all of your concealers? ❤M
I love the eye color combinations. So pretty
Ange you Crack me up!! Man overboard. Perfect explanation!
Angie's roasted veggies has helped me to cut back on meat. So many spice options and dips to change it up everytime 😍
I absolutely love you Angie 😍 your so honest, and i love and respect that ❤️
Beautiful 😍 look Angie. Always love your openness and honesty ❤
Can you imagine taking a cruise and discovering Angie, Heather, and Samantha onboard?!?! I wouldn’t be able to keep my cool. 😂
😅
And Karen Harris❤️❤️
Oh! I missed that Karen was going too!
@@bekkyholmes2876 oh sorry think I misunderstood, don’t know if she is going but would be great if she could❤️🥰
Your nose is the go-to nose job result. Maybe except for the ridge under the tip, but that's a small thing. Overall, it's an upturned button nose with good projection and that's what most people want. Even Marilyn Monroe had hers done to look like this. That's why everyone asks if you had it done
Oh I always thought people looked for something that was even smaller, but hey, I never looked into it so what do I know haha
I Jus wanna say that you've really gotten me into fragrances lately..I jus purchased the Alien Goddess perfume from Mugler and I am obsessed!!!!!! ❤️
Heather Austin says there is a cherry extract in that foundation so that is probably why it smells sweet she also says it goes away
My best vegan/vegetarian tip: every dish you can make with meat - you can make with mushrooms or beans. Also makes every one of those dishes quicker and cheaper.
Also, everything from coconut tastes better than everything from dairy 👻
Let's all remember: critique tells more about the person giving it than it does about the one receiving it. 💜 :)
Always love your looks. Thanks for sharing 😊
Yeah it's deffo full coverage. So far I'm enjoying it though :)
I made the mistake of buying with descriptions from juvias website and I failed twice. I’m going to wait for testers so I can exchange
Love your honesty! 🌸🌸
Also would be interested in a GRWM where you talk about geoscience/science - I don't know much about it and am also looking to learn new things!
Ohhhhhh your hair is so super gorgeous with that lovely green blouse 💚 I mean your hair is always lovely, but the tones are really complimentary and I love the style of that shirt. 🤩 The Winx palette seems nice. Xo
Could we do a video using 2016 make up style lol im feeling a cut crease
A get ready with me talking about your favourite books? 👀
I am living for this makeup, absolutely stunning
You brighten my day, everyday!!!! 😘
Im Swedish, so I get free education, and if I wait til we return to Europe I have a lot more free options to choose from :)
@@AngelicaNyqvist that is better. I love the irony of you being in the “land of the free,” yet you need to go to Sweden to get free education 😂😭
This look is gorgeous..I love a green and yellow eyeshadow look 💚💛
Yay a cruise w/Sam. Dynamic duo!
Love the makeup and the top! I am so happy you are thriving!
And I love that you do you and are real and true.
Your mom is adorable, like seeing a glimpse of future Angie. I hope y'all have an amazing time on your cruise! Such wonderful souls and energies together ❤
Thanks for sharing!!
I loved this vid and you made some great points!! Ig it is true most do not care about the creator but im sure most of us want you to succeed and be happy! Ive enjoyed your videos for a while now and am excited for what the future brings!
I love the Winx collection. Its taking forever for mine to get shipped, though. All the reviews make me even more excited to try it.
You look so pretty today loving your blouse 💚💚💚
Oh thank you!
@@AngelicaNyqvist youre very welcome 🥰
That Tarte bronzer looks amazing on your skintone 😍
... well at least the color is! Too bad it's lifting
OMG enjoy your cruise! It'll be great and you guys all deserve it so much! ❤❤
The cruise sounds so much fun! I can't wait to see the vlogs. I'm not the only person that wears perfume to bed then LOL
& lucky to have a nose a lot of people pay for 😸🦋💘🍭
“Flying fluff…”. 😂😂😂😂😂
I absolutely love this eye look on you.
I loved this video! And your green nails 💚💚
Maybelline 30 hr active wear -- I bought it because of you LOL it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. So lightweight. I cannot get enough!
Your makeup looks beautiful! Love the way it came out. And your skin looks radiant! I wonder how this foundation holds up though? Like 8-10 hours later??? That's my only issue with more radiant foundations is they tend to not look great after 5 or 6 hours. And I need it to last a full day.
actually I was surprised at how good this one held up, I'll try it more ofc but I've worn it twice now and I quite like it :)
Thank you so much for answering my WoW question!
Hi Angelica, this was a nice Q&A
angelica it's not just on youtube it's everywhere people are just rude and some times really nasty I've noticed it more since covid not that that has any bearing on it xx
I'm obsessed with your nail polish, it's my dream colour that I haven't been able to find, what is it?
Come live with us in Greece! It's in our culture to over study stuff most of us speak 2-3 languages at a minimum, love your channel!❤
