Man, I wish the story of this series made even half of a lick of sense. Not having any goddamn clue what's going on really kills any impact scenes like this could have had.
but in ChronoPhantasma the story goes kinda easy to follow, one line being the past events, the middle one being the present and the last one the events that continues what we see in the middle timeline. It is a little hard to catch, but if you've played the Continuum Shift it does helps as well. I love this scene and it's really cool in its context

I mean what are you confused about first and foremost? It took me a few weeks to finally get the story and CF was my first Blazblue game.
If you really wanna know the story, you're gonna have to go all the way back to Calamity Trigger as it was the first.
