It should just be like in dmc3 when you play as Vergil and fight Vergil, the one your fighting has red clothing to tell which Vergil apart. So if this were to happen I'd assume Dante would have blue clothing in the fight or some other color, maybe one of his alt costumes. Although how your saying it that kinda sounds like the doppelganger fight in dmc3
With Balrog, specifically the punching style, you can do this move where Dante acts like a boxer and swiftly dashes left and right. I assume that's how he dodged the JCE
Holding Melee in Blowmode for Balrog will allow you to enter a stance where you can use the welter move, it can dodge almost any move if you time it right
Yea I agree with you, but the only problem I have with that is turbo mode because I don't have a ps5 yet, as far as I goes for music all I can give u pretty much is the default music that plays within the boss fight if that's ok.
The move u saw was called judgement and it's always supposed to hit the enemy regardless of where they are on the screen, and it was supposed to finish him off but the game had other plans.

they should add a mode where you fight dante as dante, he does every move you do and you perfectly clash, none of you damage.
