Surprisingly, my Superlight Tanto (SW) is a great steak knife. Very comfy for a skeleton. Perfectly balanced. Very nice and thick design )). And now it's in black 😲. Plus, the Thicker Clipper. Oooh! Well done, Böker!
Boker, it's all that I'll buy...Ever have a problem, Boker will stand behind you, with a lifetime warranty...I only buy their higher end knives, because it gives me peace of mind. I had a $1k, 7 year old knife, where the wooden handle broke...I called their CS, and had a new knife sent out in a week, ever since then, they own me 👍
What range is Boker heat treating their MagnaCut to? I'm going to keep asking on as many knife videos as I watch. Not enough manufacturers and retailers get that there's a portion of the buying community that's tired of heat treatments not being dialed in for a given design and use case. I'm not saying that's the case with Boker; I don't know. I'd just like to see the question normalized, especially for the powdered or finicky to treat steels.
HK knives have been passed around like the girl that never says no. Boker now, previously Hogue, Benchmade, I can’t remember who was before but if I remember correctly they kind of sucked. The Hogue made ones are top tier. Hopefully Boker does well with them.
If that thicker clipper has been made out of a better steel, I'd have jumped on that. Nothing against D2. I love D2 for slicey thin blades. Not so much for thicc boys.
Anything that gives benchmade a run for there money benchmade to expensive for what they have shitty warrantyand even worse customer service they would have to do something very right to change my mind I am not a fan of benchmade
When there is nothing good to say about a product, the designers often resort to talking about mythical qualities, like German craftsmanship or American spirit. Let's be honest: Chinese manufacturers now offer more choices and higher quality for less money.

According to Boker's website, most of their MagnaCut knives are hardened to 61-62 HRC. For some of their knives, they say it's 62-63 HRC.
