    This is one of the least expensive and most fun guns I own. Just a joy to shoot.

      Couldn't agree more. I've yet to meet a Beretta that I do not enjoy.

    That annoying safety dig could serve a nice reminder to newbies. Isn't that nice as long as it doesn't bother when in red.

      I honestly can't argue with that, you bring up a valid point. I never thought about it that way. Thanks for watching.

      What ammo do you use? I have tried Remington Golden Bullets and Winchester white box bulk not satisfied with either.

    i think Baretta found the carbine kit to be legal, and isnt that a weaver rail? i havnt seen any of these accurate....

    • @thatfunkymonkey
      @thatfunkymonkey  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching, and yes you are correct that is a weaver style rail. As far as the legality goes, the kit itself is legal, but once you put a stock on a firearm with a barrel shorter than 16" you now have a SBR according to the ATF. You would then need to go through all the paperwork to register said SBR. And in NJ where I am pretty much everything is illegal lol. But don't get me wrong my friend if I come across a good deal on that kit, I'm gonna snatch one up.

      Thanks for the tip. I've never run those through the Beretta. If I come across them I'll pick up a few boxes and give it a go. Thanks.

    If you don't like Glocks , you don't own one. I love them because of there reliability and ease of use. easy upgrade and easy to clean. What could be easier?

    • @thatfunkymonkey
      @thatfunkymonkey  ปีที่แล้ว

      First, thank you for the comment. I appreciate a conversation with fellow firearms enthusiasts. If Glocks are your thing that's great. In no way am I trying to be rude or malicious but this is what bothers me. The Glock is prone to malfunction and wear as much as any other modern day striker fired polymer framed pistol and is no more reliable than any of it's competitors. I actually saw a video a while back of a gunsmith at a shooting range who kept excellent records, and in his findings, Glock parts wore out faster than other pistols at his particular range. As far as ease of use, you again can make the same argument for every striker fired pistol on the market or any firearm for that matter. Insert magazine, align sights on target and pull the trigger. By easy upgrade I can only assume you mean parts availability because working on a Glock is not any easier than working on any other pistol. But yes there is a ton of aftermarket support for Glocks and part of the reason is because no one keeps a Glock stock because they are made with cheaper parts, hence why everyone buys a Glock and immediately changes the sights on them. And easy to clean? Again man, no easier than any other pistol. Again I'm not bashing you dude I'm always pleased to talk to a gun guy, I just don't understand the Glock phenomenon. For me the cons outweigh the pros. But to each his own. Thanks for watching.
