Sounds every bit as good as the tone wheel models but without the oil drip from the tone wheel generator suspension hold down bolts. I’ve been wiping off those drops weekly for 35 years.
Hi. I have a hamond B 3000 organ. In which none of its keys emits any sound. He just bought it and he came without the losvos leslie. I would like to know if an instrument like this works with a conventional loudspeaker using the auxiliary input found on the bottom of it. Thank you

Thanks for the excellent demo. Based on personal experience, how transportable have you found these LSI Hammonds to be? Can the 3000 realistically hold up to being lightly (twice a month) gigged? Also, can it be adapted to separate the top from the base (pedals wouldn't be used) to reduce the footprint and make it easier to transport? Thanks in advance for any insight you might be able to provide.
I'm using the HL 722 Leslie speaker. It's the one that matches the Hammond B-3000. The HL 722, 715, and 822 are the same Leslie, just different cabinet style.----- They are two channel, rated at 215 watts. It has upper horn, 15" bass, 6" by 9" roto-sonic speaker, and three 6" by 9"'s for the piano, percussion, and non- Leslie effects. So if you have the organ on Leslie, the horn, roto-sonic, and bass speaker are working. When the Leslie is off, the three 6 by 9's and 15 are working.
@@timothyrogers3647 I would think the 6 by 9s would give very good mid range too. Who would need a synthesizer or midi with these sounds available on this organ? Is it tube or Solid State?
No, it is not the Super B, because the Hammond Super B was digital and the B-3000 is analog. What I like about this model, is that you can control the Leslie by the kick switch on the expression pedal. But what I hated was that the transposer was very limited, not a 12 key transposer as the later digital version as the Hammond Super B.
Good sound for a LSI. the problem is when the lsi break down we can not find the parts anymore and their value has fallen i have a little Hammond Cougar in France
It's a successor to the B3 because it came after. Cool hearing you play the Doors!
These B-3000's are cool, they make a lot of nice analog sounds.

Which leslie model is connected to the b3000 organ, with leslie rotosound type 722 or 822 the sound wasn't so great!
