- Join Mr H and his family as they watch the first firework display from this years World Fireworks Championship held annually at Blackpool each year between September and October.
This evenings impessive display was provided by the Russian team and filmed from the beach next to the Central Pier.

Saturday's firework display was fantastic and I can recommend making the trip out to Blackpool to watch one as your Grandkids will love it. The next display will be on the 25th of September then again on the 9th of October with the final display taking place on the 23rd of October.

Hi Lynne, Glad you enjoyed the video. Little Toby really enjoyed himself and did really well as it was way past his bedtime by the time we got home so it looks like we'll also be going to the other three displays over the next few weeks weather permitting.

We all really enjoyed the display and although we missed out on the music being played to the fireworks by leaving the large crowds behind packed all along the sea front we felt it was worth it (especially in the current climate) for the unique and uninterrupted view that we all got from the end of the Central Pier.
Nice..all the way from New Zealand..never knew there was such a thing as World Fireworks championships..ya learn something every day;-)

Yes Blackpool is great Josh, especially around this time of the year with the Illuminations and the firework shows.
Great video Roy, We also have the Fireworks display in Southport on 24 - 26 September at Victoria Park, well worth a visit.
Hi Alan l, yes we was told about Southports annual fireworks display by a gentleman that you briefly see at 2:21 who was stood with his family and I got talking to as we waited for the fireworks to start.
He fully recommended visiting Southport to see them as he's been to see them in the past and said that they are fantastic.
