One of the judges is Marie-Claude Pietragalla (a prima ballerina and choregrapher) praised him for his dancing and insisted on dancing with him while the competition was on-going. The video above (Million Eyes) came out shortly after he won said competition with a contemporary dance (Chandelier, Sia).
We are so proud of Loïc Nottet. He's so talented. You should also listen to Mr/Mme, On FIre, Mud Blood, 29, Mirror,.. And you should certainly watch the shortfilm Candy he made for Halloween. It's a real masterpiece with singing, dancing, acting. He even designed the costumes. He also made some great covers of 'Rewrite the stars, chandelier, stay,....He's multi - talented.
Ineed his movements and passionate dancing is loaded with meaning and powerful imagery. Take for example at 7:45 when he says "alone, when I'm alone I take my smile off". He contorts and physically bends his body into an upside-down "U" shape, which looks like a frown or sad face. It makes perfect sense since frowning would be the oppsite of the smile he just took off! It also looks like it hurts and is umcomfortable to be in that unnatural positiion which only further demonstrates his pain. It almost reminds me of the position of painful rigidity one experiences when infected with Tetanus. This man is able to use his body to tell profound, meaningful stories and I found this to be nothing less than sublime!

@@tnae I know many views/likes help with the YT algorithm but I hope your channel won't turn into one of those that only care about views. That would be a pity. Many artists like Loïc are only well-known in very few countries so of course it's harder to get many views. The "Dears" or the "BTS army" are searching for new reactions to Dimash/BTS daily and when they find one they jump on board. This won't happen with fans of many smaller artists who care more about the videos and concerts of their stars than reaction videos. I think you should mix reactions to the lesser-known (and often underrated) artists with the ones that will get you many views. Btw I just posted the link to your reaction video in a Loïc fan group on Facebook but I don't know how active they are there.

Yes, I have learned of this since shooting the video. It makes so much sense. I was stuck in the middle of it feeling very personal yet certainly addressing a group of people. Trauma experienced as a child certainly explains both.

A reaction to his songs 29, Mr/Mme and Mud Blood would be great. Some parts in Mud Blood are hard to understand so you should look up the lyrics first. His song On Fire (the acoustic version) is also great.
I've been a fan of Loic since I saw him at the Eurovision Song Contest. Some of my favorite songs are 29, Cry Out, Mr/Mme and Cure. On Halloween you should watch his smusical "CANDY (Long Version)". There you can see some of his acting abilities.

Many of his songs carry a personal message. He has different kinds of songs. Some dance tracks (e.g. Heartbreaker has a bit of a Michael Jackson vibe), upbeat songs like Mud Blood (with even two Loïcs in the video) or Team 8 and melancholic songs like 29 (a slow, beautiful song about the breakup with his g/f), Cry Out (one of my favorites) or On Fire. Doctor and Candy are some crazy Halloween songs. If you prefer deep lyrics then I can highly recommend his French song Mr/Mme (the video has English subtitles), a song that he wrote when he was really down.

I went ahead and posted it because there's no garauntee that they will release it and I get full rights back until they reach a decision.
