As a kid who was born at the near end of 1999 I can just say is what a time to be alive of discovering bands who are influenced by 90s, 00s metalcore. I didn't know what was going on back then while I was a toddler.
@@echoingdespairyou did unfortunately this is the only style of heavy that borders two major styles for the next two decades hardcore & metalcore. Metallic Hardcore still lives strong! Just discovered these guys literally last night. Getting crazy oldschool Poison the Well vibes but also modern Knocked Loose vibes too. I'm hooked already.
Glad to see the post hardcore sound from the 2000s is still alive and well. Seriously, for a guy who grew up on the late 90s/early 2000s post hardcore sound, I'm absolutely loving this. Hope to see more in the future.

Scream with me: Some words may never heal, Unwanted feelings may not fly away, But in this moment, I will let your words become the wings to mine. You caught me off guard, With a separation souvenir and a smile. Unlike before, Your words became ropes that lowered me Into my own fate. This distance kept my heart from moving on, Like a shallow grave in my chest left to rot. The past is stained; Calico. Saying goodbye, Kissing goodnight. Love's to perish in whose light died. Love is a memory, Within the tears of a thousand shooting stars. Cross my heart and hope to die. You left me with a separation souvenir, And your name engraved into forever. I have listened to this over 25 times since midnight. Obsessed, as is always the case with new FOREIGN HANDS. Phenomenal band that will completely takeover the scene one of these days.
cant believe its already been 21 years since this ep came out, hasn't aged a day metalcore was never the same once these guys and poison the well hit the scene, for the better tbh
Gotta love a brand new song that feels so familiar!! Y'all hit all the old school vibes and made it your own! Can't wait to hear the rest of the EP!!!!
im getting alot of PTW parts, maybe a little from autumn to ashes vibe. some of the singing reminds me of early most precious blood, a little knocked loose.
As others have said, I was immediately transported back to the early 2000's and I am here for it. Absolutely fantastic. Classic and fresh at the same time.
Thanks to Jordan Shteif fo Introducing me to these guys! Bringing back that emotional heavy metalcore form the 2000's with a modern production twist and more modern abrasive vocals a la Knocked Loose. This has everything! High pitch screamns, melodeath riffs, mathcore riffs, headbanging breakdowns, those sorta sung spoken words stuff that was so common back in the day, the mandatory soft interlude within the song before the emotional catharsis at the end of the song... Man, i love this! a nostalgic sound but still original
Just found about Foreign Hands. I really love the band's sound and aesthetic. All homage to the greatest era of Metallic Hardcore. The Opposite Of December with A modern sound. Lit!
I finally got to see this band on the counterparts tour in Denver when I heard this gem live I fuccin cried so hard I lost my sister October 11th 2022 and this hits hard than ever stay strong people 😞🖤🖤🖤
Thank you is all i gotta say... awesome to the next generation carry the torch. Well done lads.. great power, rhythm and emotional all the way through... just keep the faith... you got this... seriously awesome

This band is dope. Definitely what all of us early 00s HXC generation needs. And hopefully the new generations learn that this music is way better than the crap they push as mainstream.
Patrick Miranda of Movements sent me here, not disappointed! I'm from south-eastern PA, so if I ever see you dudes on a bill I'll be sure to hit it up!
Okay holy shit, im 31 but this touched base with "emo day me" But that thrash, hardcore, the whole shit, the great shift of music back to THIS root, i love it. mixed with some of that new shit. its a damn good Kombination. ;) keep at it guys.

The 2000s was truly the golden age of metalcore. This sound carried me through middle school and high school back then.

the kind of music you listen to and think "holy shit i missed that kind of sound"
everything about this video and song is perfect
Poison the Well meets Harvest. Great old school, hardcore vibe. Takes me back.
I grew up in high school with the 2000s metalcore. I’ll treasure it the rest of my life
This new Poison the Well is pretty good...
This band is unreal. Not enough bands bringing back that 03-06 sound. Reminds me of one of my all time favorite bands 36 crazyfists.

I saw Bryan of Knocked Loose tweet about these guys! I’m glad I checked them out!
I can't get enough of this EP. If this had come out 15 years earlier, they would have been huge.

I'm getting The Bled vibes mixed with what has already been mentioned, PTW, Misery Signals, maybe even some early AILD in some of those riffs.
I immediately thought of early as I lay dying. Everyone is saying PTW but the guitar and drum tuning is closer to early as I lay dying.
