LYRICS
Guided by the solitary light of your paradise in flames. To eradicate all living things in an unbiased genocide. No greater opportunity to do away with the righteous hearts beating in sequence with a false crusade. Adorned in a crown of thorns but I see you for what you really are: a filthy fucking pawn, a useless fucking figurehead. Immune to the contractions of a serpent’s poison tongue. No saviour could save me. No martyrs, no casualties only necessary death to facilitate the process of natural selection. With one final act of coercion, I will convince the doomed to rise and ignite the final spark that will engulf and cloak mankind. Redemption pulled from underneath their feet. No saviour could save me. Necessary death. No saviour could save me from a necessary death.
2:09 No matter how many times I come back to listen to this song, that breakdown is pure violence.

Most violent breakdown of the entire heavy music history
I see what you mean. Jesus. Brutal.
Absolutely INSANE! 🤩🤘🏿
This is how all music videos for any hardcore band should look. Don't care that I've seen this shit 400 times already.
They do? Like what😂
@@robstevens1635 like Venom and Hope by The Banner….with the exception of the bathtub scenes.
i'll never get sick of music videos like this lol
@@waxtrax_ fr bruh
This makes me want to drunk dial my ex and remind her that she took my coffee pot.
Ball Sack This is top comment-level shit. Keep up the good work: It’s not your fault that the kids commenting on here are all basicAF
True story
Chisum Burnett is was all good in time
What a bitch
How'd it work out? Did she aknowledge her misgivings? Did you get it back?
can't believe this is 5 years old. Still feels like the cutting edge of hardcore to me.
Still 4 years technically, this came in December of 2017. But I get what you mean.
Counterparts is literally my all time favorite band and only like 2 years ago I found out Brennan had this band. And it’s so god damn good
My thoughts exactly. Sounds refreshing af to me.
This is hardcore? I woulda guessed deathcore
@@chrislibby510 I can see that
@@chrislibby510 sounds like metalcore
2:11 holy molly ravioli guacamole

Guacamole ravioli sounds really good...

i need a Chewing Glass video too pls
Everything Will Putney touches are pure gold 💝💝💝
necessary... DAAAAD
LOL
This song makes my nervous system feel like outdated hardware
That breakdown is one of the filthiest things i have ever heard 👌
dat fucking breakdown hits hard
Hits harder than Tyson in his prime
it hits so hard that you spelled „that” wrong
This still hits like a truck two years later
Still hittin like a truck 3 years later.
make it 4 years later
5 years later still impossible to sit still
6 years later and still bangin!
"We must do quarantine or people are going to die"

I did not know that was the vocalist of counterparts
No way

Wait what
oh shit really?
@@benzskyeshxc96 yes
You had me at "adorned in a crown of thorns but I see you for what you really are!" And music is bangin too!! LFG!!
YES. I absolutely LOVE this band. I can't help but notice how much they are influenced by ADVENT. We need more bands doing this: raw aggression.
Caleb Nelson I thought I was the only one who thought they sound like advent. So sick
Saw Advent earlier this year .
Ikr! That’s exactly what I was thinking
Check out my friends band Violence then.
Buddy it's literally counterparts singer. Just harder. Dude saved my life
That breakdown is nasty! Love it!
Ima be completely honest I only listen to this song for the breakdown
Yolomofo24 isn’t that every hardcore song? let’s be honest
I liked it the first time I heard it...when it was called "Domination."
@@christianc6421 absolutly not
Top 10 breakdowns??
That breakdown just perfectly toasts my bread
Best breakdown of 2017 right here
Really ? That was stereotypical af.
The Heretic Prevails by Shadow of Intent says otherwise
@@mescaliiiiine it's more about the raw energy. A deathcore band doing the same breakdown wouldn't have nearly the same energy this has.
@@kylelyons6088 I agree, you expect the heaviness from deathcore, this was a refreshing blast of "holy shit there is nothing holy and heaven shall burn."
@@JimCyanide I WILL NOT ROOOOOOOOOT HYEEEEEAGH

Outsiders Malebranche he didn’t send me but I love the man

Yeah! Finally I found the song my grandma used to sing in the hospital before she passed away!! Thx!
Based G’ma
Bands like these will keep metal/hardcore alive for a very long time
This gives me an old Norma Jean vibe.
2022, and the 2:08 is still the most violence and hard hitting breakdown I've ever heard, i'm telling y'all that shit is UNBEATABLE!
Yeah tell me about it I just fell on the floor
So they somehow beat themselves with Gaping Wounds of Earth from the latest album
@@globals1366nah it still didn’t beat this
At what point is a breakdown so heavy that it could be considered physical assault? Holy shit!
Zakk Mild good question mate!
I've listend 100 times to that breakdown on repeat.
Still doesn't get old.
NECESSARY...DEEAATTTHHH!!!
Just wanna say that if everyone here digging the fuck outta this band is looking for any other similair artists and dont know NAILS, Trap Them, or Cult Leader...those are amazing artists to start with, highly recommended. Not trying to take anything away from END, this band fucking RIPS
I was just gonna mention nails. It sounds like they went to the studio and said "we wanna sound just like this" and gave them the unsilent death record lol
@@picklejamrecords8731 yes but meatier
there's a dude from trap them in this band so checks out
"Somethin somethin... crowd killed a pet"
This makes me wanna discourage my family for 18 years, become super successful, and laugh when my family tries to be in my life again
2:11 "Destroy everything"
Really badass: Neurosis vibes. Violent breakdown. Perfect song.
*clear the room before **2:11** or everything will break.*
Reminds me of 1998. So good, well done.
Saw these guys live at furnace fest, never heard of them before that, they put on an amazing show, needless to say they gained a new fan that day.
This might be my favorite track of 2017. What a fucking banger.
Criminally underrated band
Now im so hooked in this band. This is masterpiece!!
Whoa... never heard of these guys. Was going through some old music and was recommended this.... SO good
God I wish I could just listen to that breakdown on a loop all day.
i'm sorry but that breakdown will never, i repeat never make me sit still.
This kills. Need to see this live.
Come to Leeds, UK!
Sidewalks and Skeletons holy shit didn’t expect to see my favorite witch house artist on the song with my favorite breakdown, how you doin dude
Apart from this being awesome, I see a Turmoil shirt...yeah!
I Am Your Father and I can hear turmoil influence...yeah! Love that band!
The production on that breakdown is top notch, tight yet punches you in the chest.
Wish more bands would do this type of breakdown instead of the boring one chug per minute bullshit
I let my fish listen at 2:12, now he become a shark.
yeah I let my butterfly listen to this part, now she become a Dragon.
SO FUCKING ORIGINAL HA HA HA
2:11 i'm officially on the way to crowdkill my neighbours...and NO SAVIOR COULD SAVE MEEEEEE!
EP of the year!
My god that breakdown...O.O
2:11
This is my new Poison The Well. God fucking damn, do I mess them. We all grow old lol.
That’s the best acknowledgement/praise that I could ever give.
“The Opposite of December” was the f**cking game changer for myself. We’re in good hands
Took me until today to find out this is Brendon Murphy
End > knocked loose
you know when the brakedown is so heavy that you start to sweat
The fact that it’s about to reach 666k views makes this so much better lol
2:11 easily best breakdown of 2017z
In the words of my mother... "That was lovely".
That breakdown makes me want to jump through the earth.
This is a truly demonic song that lies about the only Savior, Jesus Christ. I rebuke this song in the name of Christ.
This hits like a truck, every hardcore band should aspire to this
That end though...😳
Guitarist repping a TURMOIL shirt. What an underappreciated band.
You must be a young buck. They were pretty well known and liked when they were around.
@@justinduffer9500 nah not that young at 38 😺 amongst bands they were well known but I don't think they really got the success in the hardcore scene they deserved 😿
@@SHO-CHA I don't know what you mean by " Success ". They were a big name, but hc just wasn't that popular back then. Even a band like Hatebreed were playing smaller venues ( late 90s ) yet they were on Victory Records and one of the most popular bands in the scene back then. Same thing for Integrity and Converge. I know because I was there.
@@justinduffer9500 I think HC was very popular at the end of the 90s. I mean Sick Of It All's "Scratch The Surface" was released on East West Records and went on to sell 250.000 copies. Hatebreeds "Perseverance" got into the Billboard 200 at position 50. Compare that to Turmoil who I saw in Berlin in the early 2000s playing in front of 50 people. When I lived in PA in 2002/2003 quite a few people in the hardcore scene where like "Turmoil... who?"
@@SHO-CHA Different experience, I guess. Everyone I knew back then was into them. They weren't obscure. Sick of It All is a good example, but their music was way less harsh and more mainstream friendly by then. Even Hatebreed were still playing smaller venues when they toured with Earth Crisis in '99.
2:11-me when it’s the final circle and there’s the one rat bush camping-
My rampage-
Please anybody find me anytime else in the world that goes as hard as that breakdown. Fucking goosebumps for real
Don’t mind me just putting a time stamp here for the breakdown 2:09
Glad they don’t need 7+ strings to be brutal
This reminds me of a band I opened for. They were called "The Network "
Caught these dudes in Tokyo (Kawasaki) a couple months back...
I am inclined to say that this professional group of traveling musical bards excel in the composition and craft of the musical art in which they compose and perform.
Knibb High football rules!
Lol I thought from the title that this was EMOS NOT DEAD channel but I’m not dissatisfied by this
Thanks Jared and Austin
I'd kill for a Converge + End + Sect XVX tour
Just those 3.
I can't believe this is Brenden from Counterparts
NECESSARY DEATH!!!!!!! DUN DUN DUN AH DUN DUN DUN!!!
Fuckin cannot stand when metal drummers set up like that. Sheep 🐑 good track but.
That fucking breakdown. Fuck. My poor drywall.
I shit my pants at 2:11
Haha me too dude, that shit was beat-down heavy!
How am I just now discovering this band?!?!?!? This is fucking hardcore!
greatest breakdown ever
Advent.. End.. Nothing Left. Tour and nobody survives
Just found this band and they bad as!!!!!!!was i sleeping
This is gonna be at the Jesus Piece show fucking christ people are gonna actually die
Handsdown THE ANGRIEST SHIT i've ever heard
holy shit the breakdown, thanks jared
Ugh how are these guys not massive?! As much as I love their other bands , END just hits so much deeper 🫶🏻
Sounds almost identical to ADVENT...and I loooove ADVENT
That breakdown tho
Do these dudes tour at all? I'm surprised I've never heard of them.
Anh Vu Vocalist is in Counterparts who are huge so pretty hard for end to tour
Well, they tour mostly with counterparts lol
End is a supergroup with guys from very successful bands so id imagine its pretty difficult for these guys to tour together.
screaming in silence before breakdown is extremely effective, noted
*Breakdown come*
*me* Solo crowdkilling in my room
2:11 = beat down fucking heavy dude! 🙌🏼
Thanks Jared from Subway
Its like the heaviest parts of counterparts if they were full songs, god damn its good shit.
Who came here via Jared's reaction video?
you guys and spite are the only thing I've been jamming for the last month
Went ahead and shit my pants. Going to bed now.
