I love the ethos of your generation Shawna. You see the value in used things, and do not contribute to the same degree in filling up our universe with ‘stuff’ that clogs up our rubbish dumps forever. It took me a long time to appreciate ‘once loved’ items, and now make a concerted effort to not buy new whenever possible. Nice haul by the way!
Aww thank you for your kind comment, Elizabeth! I think my mum has influenced me a lot as she loves second-hand shopping too 😊 I find it exciting not knowing what I'll find ❤️
Good finds! I like the stoneware plates. I lived in a garden flat in Edinburgh on Henderson Row when I was a student in the 70’s. There was a wonderful little junk shop at street level, and I bought a desk there so I could study in my room away from my flat mates. Found out a few weeks later that it was full of woodworm, 😱 so we put it out back in the unloved communal garden......it might still be there! I still have two lovely China dinner plates that I also bought there! I used to love the real old fashioned junk shops in Edinburgh.....full of real treasures!
Still catching up on your previous videos. It's fun seeing your most recent videos, and then seeing a video like this where we see when/where you acquired certain items. Loving being on this journey with you! 😊
New sub, really enjoyed this charity haul. Love what u got, an a bargain wicker chair it’s lovely. I like that a lot of new people like to go in charity shops etc most people I no would be shocked if they had to go in to a charity shop, such snobs lol x

All the stuff you bougth are really beautiful and useful.
Yes, the tape on the back of frames is simply protective. It stops dust getting in as well as creepy crawlies who munch on paper.
Ohh thank you! I'll not be put off by it in the future 😊
