From a Phillies fan, regardless of who you root for this game was an all time classic and shoutout to this Mets team that never quits. First home game for them back in Citi Field in 16 days. Should be a great series and may the best man come out on top

@@TwoHeadGoat I hate it. The sound of the crowd roar during a postseason baseball game is unmatched, but you can barely hear the crowd at all during radio telecasts. They should stick to tv only.
You should get the local audio if you choose...its so much better. These are the guys on the call all year.

This game is most excited baseball game as I have watched for 60 years. It was an incrediable game.
I'm not a phillies or mets fan, and that game was incredible to watch. Both teams did great, can't wait to watch more
Kudos to the Phillies, they kept themselves in the game. And as much as the loss stings, the Mets did keep their bats hot the whole game, every time the Phillies scored, the Mets answered back whether retaking the lead or tying the game. Both fanbases had a sense of cockiness, thinking they were going to sweep the other team, but these last 2 games have shown that the ticket to the NLCS ain't comin easily to either team. Brilliant game!

Huge clutch and grit moment for him getting that HR after making the error in the inning prior. That was one of those games where the home team was probably going to win only because they had the last at bat.

The Phillies didn't just come back for the victory tonight, they came back from the defeat last night! They could have just folded today, but they fought back again and again and won it in the end. VERY impressive victory and mental strength!

Mets fan here. While there was incredible back and forth offense, it was the Phils’ stellar D and the Mets’ schoolyard D which made the difference.

I love listening to Phillies Post season play by play on the Siruis radio. The announcers give off emotional play Atmosphere everytime homerun is hit or a perfect play. It gives me a rush.

Harper against the non-severino pitchers faced almost no hittable pitches. He missed a hanger in the 9th but drew a huge walk, and walked in the 8th and ended up scoring

@@sawmill035 I mean you’re right in the fact he didn’t hit for much power, but outside of his horrible July he was still a .300 AVG .400 OBP in September and had a good 2nd half of August and ended with a solid month overall. No longer “MVP” but still a really good hitter
@@riley.dentonn6884 I understand -- and for the record Harper absolutely is still an MVP caliber player. He was just fighting an injury. Happens. He'll be fine this playoffs (clearly) and into next season.
Not only would I be good with either the Mets or Phillies taking this series, I'd be good with either team winning it all this year. Great baseball teams, great baseball cities... great story-telling.... Love it.

One of the best playoff games ever. 3 lead changes AND ties. This is the kind of game that’s only written in movies and very rare to see such an intense game in real life.

Phillies flat line yesterday, no life at all. Down 3-0 early in this game, come back to blow the lead multiple times & still come out with a W is wild resiliency.
