Black eyes = starving vampire
Gold eyes = vampires who feed on animals
Bellas eyes will stay red until her human blood leaves her system. As she feeds on animals they will slowly transition to gold

As others have said, imprinting is involuntary. Additionally, the protection for the subject of wolves' imprinting is due to psychological trauma. Losing one's imprintee is psychologically devastating to the imprintor; it completely destroys him. Given the mental link among wolves, the idea of inflicting that on a peer (and consequently on the whole pack) is unimaginable-it would inflict incomprehensible misery on everyone, indefinitely. Per the _Breaking Dawn_ book, it had never been done intentionally, only accidentally, and the wolves involved always fought to the death.
I've never seen a reaction where people were happy, not disgusted, when Jacob imprinted on the baby. 😂

i thought imprinting someone doesn’t have to be romantic, in this movie is to protect the baby. i mean at least in these saga i thought it wasn’t romantic until she’s grown (still weird but maybe he wasn’t thinking about it that way)

Edward was biting through the amniotic sac to get the baby out because it's as hard as vampire skin(hence why Carlisle couldn't see through it on the ultrasound machine).
There was a scene at one time, I think it may have been edited out, where when Bella was on the Reservation it showed one of Jake’s friends walking with a toddler. Jake at that time explains how he feels sorry for his friend, because his friend imprinted on the toddler. His friend would have to protect the toddler and stay by her side and wait for the toddler to grow up. It was a hint of what was to come and to prepare the audience for the possibility. The fact that they cut the scene out, probably because it made people feel uncomfortable, causes the audience to miss the information and makes the revelation hit harder.
It's baffling that You guys think Jacob would IMPRINT on a BABY on PURPOSE to save its life. You guys know he hated the baby idea during the entire movie. There's no control over imprinting.
Yeah I was confused why Kristen jumped to he imprinted on the baby by choice like he's playing 3D chess.

The wet blanket thing was very much true to the book. The POV switched to him in the book of Jake rushing out of the Cullen’s house.. he went to the mall, and looked at every single woman trying to imprint on someone. He has always been snooze fest for me, but I was DYING during the Breaking Dawn book. It’s the one time I actually wanted the drama of a pregnancy trope. Only redeeming part of his POV is helping Leah learn to hunt.
The baby is CGI because aside from wanting her to look like the same actress throughout, she needs to be more aware than normal babies. She was born with a full set of teeth, and a fully formed brain. She’s a newborn, but she’s also older than all of the Cullen’s mind wise aside from Esme. Edward did bite her out of Bella’s stomach because there was a protective shield or shell around her that only vampire teeth could penetrate. She could’ve gotten herself out.
What took Jake so long to join the fight was that Edward read his mind about imprinting. He broke or dislocated his arm, tossed him across the living room, and left him there to go fight. It was shown in the extended edition.
Guys, imprinting is involuntary and does not mean romantic necessarily lol, this has been explained the whole series. Thank you for the reaction though love y’all
He literally says “we can be anything she needs” a friend, a brother a protector” (something along those lines). At no point did he say “lover” and for some reason everyone goes to this gross version 😂

The misunderstanding about imprinting 😂 😂 😂 I don’t know if this take makes it better or worse than the actual canon
Idk I feel like the actual Canon made sense and did a far better job explaining the whole point of everything basically being up to the person who is imprinted on
This is the one frustrating thing when they watch a series. A take like that makes me wonder if they are paying attention to what the are watching because imprinting was specifically discussed and explained that a wolf has no control on whom or when they imprint on someone.
I look at it like this I loved a girl who was 14 years younger than me, so I was 14 when she was born and knowing her and loving her I wanted to see old pictures and baby pictures and I wished I could know her through the parts of her life I’d missed out on. I wasn’t like “I want to go back on time and fuck that baby!” 😂 I remember her mom showing me a 2nd grade picture of her and I laughed because I knew that face! So well ! 😆 It was her exasperated face..

Jacob did not imprint on Renesmee intentionally or strategically. According to the Twilight universe, werewolves can't choose whom they imprint on. It happens involuntarily. It's not under their control. Luckily for the situation, Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. It's just a coincidence going according to the demands of the situation

This movie was made from mostly first parts of the last book, so the payoff/action is all in the last movie. The last book is more based on a mystery than action, so manage your expectations going into it as if memory serves, the last book doesn't really have much in the way of action or payoff right until the last few chapters.

Ok so imprinting. The wolves all have a soulmate. But see, the term soulmate isn’t always a romantic relationship. It can be romantic. It can be mother and daughter. Teacher and student. 🍎🐺 Imprinting here is not just a one way street. Renesmee also imprinted on Jacob having heard and felt his presence while she was still in the womb. He unknowingly became her "Baby Mozart" so to speak, especially in the latter stages of Bella's pregnancy when Renesmee developed an advanced consciousness. Though Bella always had strong feelings for Jacob, Renesmee's preference for him made Bella feel inexplicably closer to Jacob more than ever. So much so that she even wanted to call him EJ if it was a boy 😅

As someone who seen this at the midnight premiere. We were both fans of the books. People were upset (because it wasnt in the books) and crying during the vision fight scene. Lot of emotion like clapping and yelling no!! But the end credits was mostly cheering and clapping.
One of the things i disliked about the movies is their hunting. In the book, if i am remembering correctly, they hunted bears not deer. If they were smart they would just move away from the wolves so they can hunt proper. They should become cattle farmers. They can drain their blood and then sell the meat win win.
No one said Stephanie had dynamic storytelling skills. She had a biased worldview to fulfill.
They hunt deer, mountain lions, bears etc... it all depends on their "taste" also personality. Edward explains it to Bella in the books.
From what I understand from the books, cullens are billionaires at the least. All that wealth accumulated over a few centuries, plus with Alice's visions they also do well in the stock markets. Bella once mentions in the last book that they have enough loose cash in their house to run a small country. So cattle farmers doesn't seem like a good idea 😅
Eating bears seemed stupid.. chasing down a deer seems reasonable people eat deer. Imagining them razzing some bears feels dumb. 😂
+ They live in Forks for the cloud cover. Sparkly ranchers is a bad idea.

The ones that don’t drink human blood have golden eyes. Bella has red eyes because she still has human blood in her.
The imprinting does not necessarily mean something romantic, it can be something romantic, fraternal, paternal or depending on the circumstances, in this case to protect Renesmee the imprinting occurred, but they explain that in the second part, although that doesn't change the fact that it can be taken out of context, I don't think Stephanie Meyer believed that this Jacob and Renesmee thing can look very bad in current times and at any time to be honest

It's been a while since I read them, but i think the last book was longer because it was written in 3 parts starting from Bella's perspective, switching to jacobs in the middle after Bella calls Rosalie after seeing Edward's reaction to her being pregnant, then going back to Bella's following her transformation.
Die Twilight Saga ist nicht unbedingt meines, wobei ich zugeben muß daß mir dieser und vor allem der letzte Teil echt gut gefallen haben. Überhaupt der letzte bei'm ersten mal ansehen. Ich freue mich schon auf eure Reaction vom letzten Teil!

you guys really did a good job turning a teenage love-romance movie up into a full on comedy serial....i still can't get the comment out of my head, "glitterball"...🤣
Imprinting is not a choice. Now you see why Jacob and Bella always rotated in each others orbit without ever really getting closer. The way I see it is Jacob, sure had a thing for her, but deeper down, his wolf side felt something deeper in Bella, but not Bella herself whereas Bella was always out of place in the normal world and only felt right with Edward. If you read the series, you will pickup on all of this, especially when she is transforming and "waking up". There are a lot of internal thoughts left out of the movies. Some other reactions were grossed out on the fact that Jacob imprinted on a baby and thinking it all dirty and wrong, when its more like he imprinted on her being or soul or whatever, not the physical part. Once she is grown (or not, need to watch next one), sure they will become close in other ways...read into it deeper and you get to see a whole other level to it. Both Jacob and Edward were being dicks, but remember, they are both acting out their age. Edward maybe 100 years old but mentally or more specifically emotionally, he is thinking as a 17 year old, not 100. His brain never continued to mature to 25 as normal, instead it stopped at 17. So both of them were a bit immature for how you think they should have acted in the moment...and one more thing, Edward has not failed in ever portraying how he would be if he ever lost her, this drives his emotional state every time she is in danger. Jacob the same from that deep down potential imprinting possibility...

You guys, imprinting WAS creepy, because wolfs can't control it, you don't choose who you love and that's why they have a law about not killing the one, he didn't have a choice, at the moment he met her eyes, he understood that that's who he's given and that's who he'll have to protect for the rest of his and her life, he wasn't smart, it just finally got to him and it made sense of his wanting Bella so much, even though he never imprinted on her.
PS: Vampire eyes clarification - red eyes exist for the 'non-vegetarian' vampires and they're naturally blood-like red, it's only mentioned in the books I think. They're red already at that moment because there's still a lot of blood left in the muscles of a former human body. Golden is the color their eyes get when they start feeding with animals blood.

Jacob was, unknowingly, in love with an egg in Bella's ovaries. Once that egg became a baby and was born, he imprinted on the baby. I understand the lore but it still gives me the ick 😂

The reactions between you two are almost as good as the reactions to the movie. But, I do have something to say. NOT all series that are made into movies get better and better as they go. THEY SHOULD. That is the goal of every movie series. But we as fans know that very few of them do it. Look at LAWS. 1 and 2, GFRWEAT. But 3 and 4, went nowhere except downhill. AND, if they had made Breaking Dawn into 1 movie, we are looking at 4 to 5 hours worth of movie. Too long. But if they had made Part 1 shorter, it would have cut out some very important messages. So that was not an option, thankfully. Have faith guys. Breaking Dawn MAY make up for the BAD parts of Pt 1. Remember, 1 and 2 are all 1 book. Thanks for Posting this.
