Profound meaning i internalize about the "yoke" and why the " burden " is light , because of this dynamics among the DIVINE TRINITY .
THANK YOU GOD OUR FATHER, JESUS CHRIST , and The HOLY SPIRIT .🙏🙏🙏
Thank you , Bishop Barron .🙏😇💒

Agreed. Especially if the priest has a different perspective on the gospel, it enriches the homily.

Bishop Barron clearly explained the difference between the Word and the World... What the former can give and what the latter cannot give... We have to choose wisely with the help of the Holy Spirit in our life's journey.

He's SHARING the work/walk, unlike the Pharisees who would point out what they believe you should do without lifting a finger to share the burden.
Jesus will help you carry the load, shift it to carry more of it, and not set too arduous a pace...but we will go forward. He won't leave you behind and we're not standing still.

@brendamyc3173 have you been wrong by sinners of the church? Did your personal data or privacy being violated? can you clarify on which data? Why did you force to give false witness?
‘A lot of people were hurt by the abuse of their data and how they were forced to give false witness. The personal lives of many different people were made public and the accounts are mixed together’

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11.25-30)

In my darkest night Jesus you are all I need, your Word will be my guiding light, your love will be my trust. Something deep inside me is searching for a reason but Lord I know you are my answer, calming all my fears.
Steeped inside my confusion I've traced a seed of humble trust; your hand has led me all along, you'll guide me still the same. And there's always something thankful even in my saddest cry, Lord I want to follow you wherever you may lead.

I was my husband's caretaker too.. be assured.. your prayers will be answered .. my dear husband repentted with tears a few months before his death and then it developed that a wonderful Franciscan priest came from hospice and gave my husband Extreme Unction and he also heard my confession! Then a few days later my husband passed and came in spirit to wake me up as I had collapsed into my bed from exhaustion. And exactly one year later this May 4th on the stroke of midnight he visited me again in the same way! So I know your prayers are being answered as mine have been also.🙏 Padre PIO says "Pray, hope and don't worry, God is merciful, He hears your prayers".

It's clear that many people nowadays don't follow by God's will and have the mindset of love from childhood, to love and to share and to be kind to one another. We should all be joined together and to love each other and forgive and treat each other the way God would want us to. He would want us to lift each other up and make sure we're all taken care of and loved. We all need to work together and make sure his will be on done on earth.
It's such a remarkable thing that we are invited into this trinity of love, and for us to have the privilege of being a part of this precious pearl. We are all here to show our humble love to each other and to make this world a better place. We can all take care of each other this way. God knows we all need our peace and is here for us when we walk in his shoes and mimic his thought process here on earth. We all deserve rest and he is here to give it to us, we all have him as our resting spot.

I like how Bishop Barron insightfully describes how this passage in Matthew is so John-like in nature, which gives it a lofty start before reaching such tender language toward the end. Yet even that ending describes how, through humbly resting in God and entrusting ourselves to Him, we enter the Divine Life that the Father and Son share that is furthermore manifested in the Holy Spirit. And we ultimately find our satisfaction by growing in knowledge that leads us to fully realize Him.

“The Father giving to the Son, and the Son receiving, and then giving it back is the work of the Holy Spirit!”
“All things has been handed by the Father!”
“No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son!”
Bishop Barron goes on and on, with all these amazing passages… and we all feel breathless, listening, absorbing, and loving the Word of God, and it’s only through the amazing interpretation by Bishop Barron 🙏
And, it’s only but right and just, that the Almighty Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit dwells amongst all of us!
    🙏🙏🙏

Excellent! I’m grateful to God for putting such crystal and profound words in you. Your sermon is so deep, Bishop. Thank you for your sharing and your team’s attempt.
The Father loves the Son and empties Himself for the Son. The Son in return does the same thing. So, that love is the Holy Spirit. It means that God loves man so much that He empties Himself by letting His Only Son leaves Him for a while to be a man (because God are actually One and never be separated as we human beings). So the incarnation of Jesus, the Son, is leaving His hidden feature, leaving secret of Himself (if He hadn’t come, no one would know God is Three in One).
Keeping privacy is a basic right of every human. When someone reveals herself or himself for others’ sake, even though she, he doesn’t need to and it’s not for her/his sake but for the others, that action becomes a sacrifice.
“For God so loves the world that He gives His Only Son” can be understood like this: For God loves all of His creatures so much that He reveals Himself as the Trinity, which is the biggest secret of Him. And it’s not just like that. He accepted the pain that He saved Abraham from: the pain seeing His Son died painfully. It doesn’t stop at that point either. He, Who (if I can use that word) is everything in everything but much more greater, the greatest, and also the Source of everything that exists visibly and invisibly, was killed when His Word in Flesh died as a human dies.
Jesus stills has in His Body all the wounds not to make us shame on our sins but because He has already transformed since He wants to please the Father. The desire to make the Father happy is not separated from love for mankind but they are one. So, God the Son has not only left His position as a Son of God, a God, not only become a slave, the smallest among mankind when He accepted death with His free will but also expresses His love for us when He keeps the transform as a God-man after His resurrection.
I don’t know if I understand wrongly. Please let me know if you see it, Bishop.
Thank you and God bless you and your team too.

Thank you so much Bishop Barron for helping me grow and comforting my soul. I like how Jesus in the Gospels was very giving towards everybody but was very clear about what it meant to have a relationship with Him, a relationship with God. I think Catholics spouses can understand what it means to have a relationship that is a world for 2 and that no one else can comprehend in his beauty, intensity and complexity. Their children, who come to life in this relationship, are the ones that see it from up close.
