Weird... Nobody knows you xD Considering the fact that the very first Ele druid that came out wasnt named Wind druid but was named Ele druid next guide was called hurricane druid. Speaking from back in the day 15-20 years ago. But its all cool that you claim it without backing up the evidence. I dont remember the first person who wrote the guide for ele druid or hurricane druid. But you can still find them till this day today. Just Search up Ele druid LoD guide.

@@urfavdumbkid123 My alltime favorite band is Strapping Young Lad. (Especially City and Alien) I'm also a big fan of bands like Nevermore/Communic. For my Black metal I enjoy Rotting Christ, Sardonic Wrath/Too old Too cold era Darkthrone, Shining, Nattefrost. I'm also into stuff like Slayer/Sodom/Kreator. And I enjoy me some Leng Tch'e and Vader as well :) I listen to way more but I have literal 100's of albums here so can't list all of them

wind druid feels terrible in the maggot lair. any time i run one, it's the only place that i dread going into. tornadoes going straight into walls even when you're standing right in front of enemies. still manages to be one of my favorite builds though
Well, wind druid is not the only one who dislike the maggot lair. Terrible place.
But yeah, atleast most other classes have skills that actually go where you point it too.
“Respec between level 18 and beating Baal hell” where there you go.
I mean I did fire druid up to baal. So you don't haaaave to respec haha
Interesting I usually switch to nado after farming normal cows. Leaf + fissure is like S tier.
You can switch anywhere you like both builds can get through the game without too much trouble :)
Best build in the game, dropping only EF5 tornadoes and category 5 hurricanes

Also, Fal rune, you can probably do a Lionheart for your Merc, for added health, strength, res and damage. Pair it with a double amethyst helm, and you can give him a Colossus Voulge Insight (guaranteed max 4 sockets) for a cheap decent merc setup.
Lionheart would be excellent, but I definitely don't find a Lum rune every run. CV insight would be amazing but that is a pretty big ask for a run like this.

@@thenuclearrabbit I figured that you didn't find Lum for that Lionheart tbh in this run, and probably would never go farm for it in one of the S tier builds run that take you so little time compared to e.g. your Fury Druid.
It's just that hey, if you ever find yourself having the runes, you could probably do a setup like this on a caster build to deal both with elemental immunities and have Meditation aura (you can farm a CV on Nightmare terrorised zones).
I wouldn't mind farming with an s tier build. But farming the tower and countess with this build will take forever. I would rather farm the pits at that point. Low level hell countess farming is actually pretty hard. The setup is solid. I've run very similar setups before and been happy with them :)

I once got one shotted while walking inside a room that had double boss archers with Might, Cursed, Multiple Shots, among other mods 😭😭😭.
Oh man I know that feeling all to well. Also the classic going to a lower level and just getting instakilled.
mate what do you max first after tornado and hurricane is it oak sage or cyclone armor?
Oak Sage if I'm feeling squishy. Cyclone armor if I'm doing fine anyway

I've always wanted to try an arctic blast druid that doubles as a windy, even if just to get through the early parts of the game without respeccing. I've also found it strange that the wind druid doesn't have a lightning spell. Something like the Sorc's Thunderstorm spell I think fits the Druid more IMO.

I could try arctic blast through normal or something. But I think it's even to bad to do that. I kind of like that he has fire and heat vs cold and wind, I find it very flavorful. I would like a cold druid to be viable.
I can do as many of these as I like and I have run requests to keep going for years. But I am going to lower the pace I'm doing them in. I have to be very careful I don't burn myself out at this point (I've basically been doing work-sleep-diablovideo's the past 13 months). I have had a ton of people requesting other games and people have even bought me games to make videos with, and I intend to honor those requests. I also am honestly just kind of running out of things to talk about within d2, so some more time between videos will very likely improve the quality at this point.
I do plan to keep doing diablo videos as long as people enjoy them. But it will be more like a 60/40 diablo/ other.
Current next project in d2r are a maul bear and a classic summon necro.
Outside of d2 I have an elden ring run recorded I need to edit, and a megaman x playthrough I need to write a script for. I also started nuzlocking again. I want to do sc2/wc3 and pokemon soul silver cause people bought them for me to make videos with. I also want to do mario kart, f-zero and a bunch of nostalgic snes games.
@@thenuclearrabbit yeah I've seen enough arctic blast attempts on youtube to get an idea that it will hit a hard roadblock in Hell if not well before. Definitely viable for Normal tho. And I dunno, maybe with enough cold rainbow facets...
It's good to hear that you both have a lot of stuff in the pipeline but also aren't overdoing it, your SSF runs are a lot of fun but no need to rush them out imo. Never stop never stopping!

I never respecc bevor i get a insight and spirit. Fissure works very good in nightmare.
You can even take it through hell without too much problems. And like you I figured getting a spirit would be a nice point to switch
Missed your videos, seems the drop rate for uniques is better in console
The console drops feel off compared to pc. But I don't think the amount of uniques is different. I do find many more of the same items depending on what account I'm using to record which is weird for sure

I never enter hell as long as I’m getting atleast 1 level per nm Baal. Am I wrong for that?
Oh no not at all! Please go at your own pace. I'm just used to going way lower than 66 into hell. I usually go between 55-60 depending on the build. I play at what most would call a very brisk pace. This is also the build I learned to speedrun the game with, I've done this to guardian in 7 hours. Clocking in at an 11 hour run this felt almost glacial to me. But it's all allright, just go at your pace of play, as long as your having fun your pace of play is good :)

Being spiteful is literally how I lost my most recent HC toon.... dual champion pack of Black Raptors, those weird flying lizard dudes in a2. They killed my merc, I ran, tp'd... got mad that they killed my merc. So i went back. Yea... they ganked me. Lol
Glad to know I'm not the only spiteful player out there... like for real, you don't get to hurt me! I'll kill you all! Dies. Lol

Yeah... I did a quick look on items, and it seems to be mostly shields and some maces.
Even if we expand the item list with names that are related to weather, like wind and frost, its not really that much better

I still wanna do more of those set based runs, but most sets are just kinda crappy unfortunately. You have tals/ik/aldur/griswolds/mavina's and after that it goes downhill very fast. Sigon's is probably rhe best after those which is kind of insane
