Spy is more of a distraction for engi than a counter, since destroying a sapper takes 2 swings from your wrench and then you can just shoot down the guy who's been sapping your stuff Demoman's grenades ALWAYS deal 100 damage on direct hit (without damage falloff) so it takes 3 direct pipes to destroy a level 3 sentry, and even less when it comes to the other buildings Stickies can be really effective too, since it takes about 2 or 3 stckies to destroy a level 3 sentry (Oh, and most of this is effective because sentry gun is stationary, and it is much easier to land a direct hit on stationary targets)
