i was literally just expressing my emotions about sans' mii costume reveal earlier (they're extremely positive; september 4th 2019 was the best moment of my life), so, funny to see this here! but yea, that's definitely a good point! also, that remix is basically MEGALOVANIA: Reprise. it's more than just a remix, it's a new version entirely and i LOVE it

i'd argue that the "asgore theme" is referencing toriel instead since sans and toriel have a close relationship with each other

I always felt Megalovania was a theme that transcended characters. It's not anyone's leitmotif, it's the theme that embodies a climatic epic battle.
