I restored a 1948, first year of production, pickup, had flat head 6 that was seized, replaced it with chevy 327 and Muncie 4 speed. It was a total beast on and off road, I hauled 4 ton of sand on it and still has spring clearance on rear, no shock absorbers as springs so heavy if you jumped up and down in the bed it didn’t bounce at all. Had it for about 12 years and move to new home and had no place to keep it so sold it to a neighbor who didn’t take care of it and he junked about 2 years later, if I knew he was going to scrap it I would have bought it back and found a place to keep it. Great memories
Gracias a Dios hay personas q tienen recurso económico para restaurar y darle vida nueva a estas grandes e inolvidables maquinas de doble ...son una verdadera joya .
I tear up when I see these. Two vehicles I've owned and kick myself for selling were: (1) a 57 Willys Wagon with a 283 Chevy I lifted back in the 70s with Warn OD and a Ramsey PTO winch. (2) a 72 Landcruiser FJ40 with a 327 Chevy and factory PTO winch. Am I stupid? Why yes, yes I am.

I'm building a '51 wagon. Kingpin D60 front, FF D70 rear, SM465/NP205 & Gen 6 454, stroked down to 427. Beautiful build you got there!
Hey Logan-- I'm doing a 1950 Jeepster. I'd love to talk about your setup!
Very nice simple job. Way to go on the sbc motor. Can't beat a sbc. Nice rig!!!

Would’ve kept it original, or close to original if it was up to me. Sbc takes the fun out of it sometimes.
Beautiful truck.

How much did it sell for?
Get rid of the lift and tires, and the V-8.The T-90 can't handle the power. The body's beautiful.
I know someone who is selling one $14,000 dark green paint on top and light green bottom you have to import though
