Wow, thanks! I did my Masters work in Educational Technology with 35 years of being an educator.☺️ thanks for watching and subscribing. I hope you enjoy OneNote.
Great channel! Thank you a lot for the helpful review and explanation. I’ve tried a lot of productivity apps. Yep, One Note looks like no so modern but has enough flexibility and features to fully organise your flow )
Interesting video. I've left Evernote and returned to OneNote. I use OneNote on my desktop (W10) and laptop (W11), and really have problems syncing between the two computers even though I have fast broadband (200mg). If only I could solve this OneNote would tick all my boxes.
You may want to check the settings that you have for syncing. Under the file menu there's a box for view sync status. Under sync status you can find the settings for syncing automatically Whenever there are changes or syncing manually. Maybe this will help. Thanks for watching.
I really want to use this but have no idea how to start. I'm trying to find your first video to teach me to start using One Note. My page isn't opening like yours. Thank you for sharing.
I understand it can be a little overwhelming when getting started. I would recommend you start with this video. th-cam.com/video/wyvtA3wCXek/w-d-xo.htmlsi=r6rvddtKSYb3m2rG It covers me setting a brand new notebook in addition to explaining how OneNote works and why I love it so much. It is a step by step video that I hope will help. Thanks for being interested in using OneNote.
Thank you for your insightful video. I have been a heavy user of OneNote and have been (and still am) looking at dozens of new note-taking tools. However, I have never found one which is so easy and feature-rich as OneNote (unless one really needs database functionalities), so I never dare transferring to a new one. The one thing that bothers me, is that I don't know what version of OneNote I am using. I am using the one that comes with Office365, but it looks like the OneNote 2016 version (which to me is organised more logically than OneNote for Windows 10). However, I now wonder whether this version still gets updated. It's simply not clear.
I completely understand. I know they are updating and combining the two versions to create One OneNote 🙂 I see some of the upgrades. I agree with you, the functionality is superior. OneNote is my note-taking app!🥰 Thank you for your kind words and for watching.
Hi Crystal. I am new to digital ... I downloaded a PDF for a calendar notebook and can't seem to figure out what to do now. Do you have a video on steps to do this? Thanks!
th-cam.com/video/iYarhxlQHRc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rkN_E0cphWvBjTTe this link is to my 2022 set up which is a pdf planner. I know it is older, but the process is the same. Just remember to "set the picture as a background" before you try to write or type on it. Happy planning.
I also love OneNote! Thanks for the video. I am interested in the Student-shared notebook. If a student doesn't have OneNote, can they still share with the rest of us? How do you set it up? Thanks.
Hi Leslie, I no longer have a school account so I can not show you how they are set up. But I will share the link to the Microsoft sight with all the details. www.onenote.com/classnotebook All students need to have access to OneNote to share. I have set up a regular notebook and shared it with the students that I tutor. All you need is the email addresses of the students you are sharing with or team members you are collaborating with. Have fun planning.
What's the best way to learn OneNote? I'd appreciate your suggestions be they for manuals or TH-camrs. I would love to put my whole life in OneNote like you have. Currently, I've got notes all over the place (on paper notepads & notebooks, in Excel, in Word, in Samsung & Google notes, in AnyDo, etc). I also want to set up the GTD system. Thanks!
Thank you for your channel. I just now discovered you. I appreciate your clear instructions and that you are willing to share. I'm sure I can learn something from you though I've been using OneNote for years. I loved The 3 S's! Copied that to OneNote. 🍎
Thank you for watching. Why do you love OneNote? Leave me a comment to let me know.
Fantastic, common-sense explanation of a fantastic product. I get the impression you were/are an IT consultant. Cheers.

I honestly have the most highest trust with OneNote keeping all of my data safe with out the possibility of everything being deleted! 😊
I agree 100%. But it is always good to have a backup somewhere 😉.
Great, organized presentation of OneNote. Besides that, she has a great personality.
Thank you so much. 😊

Glad it was helpful! I agree. Hope it is working for you.
I love onenote. I use it for my writing. But you gave me more ideas, thanks.
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching!
I’ve been watching your videos and you’ve inspired me to move back to Onenote. I’m looking for ideas for recipe management.
Great I'm glad you're moving back to OneNote. I can certainly make a video sharing my recipe notebook. Thanks for watching!

As of2023, you can't create notebooks on phones if not connected.
I did not know that, thanks for sharing. I usually set up new notebooks on my desktop and just use them on my phone.
