I've already explained the reason for this to many viewers on my channel. This is done for my own sensory comfort and the obvious technical reasoning. When reacting to music, I need to be able to hear and control my own voice-volume as well as what I'm saying as opposed to having the sensation of feeling like both of my ears are stuffed with earplugs! I do get the whole experience as my music is cranked up really loud as well as my PC sound-equipment!
