Malenkis have been around for a while (since 2020 iirc) and became much more popular more recently in the US with the HV version for 1lb ants so I am kinda surprised it took this long for you to find them. Either way they are a new product for Turnabot to sell and it is nice to see such a good product becoming more readily available.
I love malenki’s. I run them in all my 150g bots and they’re very common here in Australia due to their ease of use and light weight. We’ve recently had an Australian builder make his own with better wiring management for the same weight and about half the price. I highly recommend Malenki’s to anyone from brand new builders to experienced builders for 150g bots They do have High Voltage ones too that run on 3 and 4S but I have not tried them as of yet
Thankyou so much for this video, I've had malenki-nanos for a while to use in 150g robots here in Aus but because I'm new to soldering and pretty poor I can't afford to mess it up and haven't attempted to use them yet
The only reason I can spin a 23g blade on an 1806 with a full bearing support structure on my 150g tomb-clone is because I replaced all the electronics with a Malenki Nano and a single extremely small weapon ESC. Nano’s are truly life changing!
I like to keep things separate. If you lose one esc with the nano you then have to deal with replacing the whole board and binding again. I think they are awesome for less destructive classes but not so good in full combat.
Oh I absolutely love Malenkis! My first 3lb bot I accidentally made the electronics box to small for the electronics I had on hand but I was able to find the Malenki-Nano-Integrated-HV and it allowed me to actually compete with my bot. Absolutely love it and will continue to use it for future bots.
I'm also using the Malenki nano in my antweight bots. They are fantastic! Unfortunately, I have to order from UK or USA, so they get quite expensive here in Europe 😥
I’m working on a Rex update video right now. I was trying to have it done for this week but hopefully next week. I put Skorpios on hold one of my sponsors is developing a new product that will be game changing in robot fighting. They said I’m supposed to get the first sample and I am waiting for it.
Fantastic work! Well Done! We use those ESCs here in Britain and 3 of my 13 Antweights use the Malenki Nanos. Hopefully, two more Ants will have these once they're finished being built.
i use these in my 1lb antweights, they are great. can have 3 brushed motors and still put servos on easily. the main Nano doesnt like anything above 2s, but they also make high voltage ones to natively use batteries above 2s it's a great alternative to the usual wire squid
Top tip: Put the name of your product in the review. It's a Malenki Nano, it's been a staple of small combat robotics for years, and it's not made by Turnabot (it's from Robson Robotics). I assumed your entire fleet ran on them.
Your audio leveling was all over the place with this one
Y’all are the best!!!
Zack single-handedly creating the great Malenki Mano shortage of '24
Most likely
I mean, I have 100 robots to convert
I ordered 20 boards last night
@@SkorpiosBattlebot I do not envy you having to convert 100 bots. At least you will get plenty of soldering practice in!
I have been using the nano in active weapon bots for a few years now and they are still going strong.

Wait till you try it with the turnabot motors too!
Woohoo! Yay Turnabot! We are going to get them in schools all across the country!

ooooooooooh what is the cheaper alternative called and where can I get them?
@@Cheeky_Chelsea "LLama Forge Ant Control Board" should be all the search term you need.
We all

Glad I could help
Wait, this is the first time you’ve ever use the Malinky Nano
Btw this thing is so good for fairy weight so maybe um , micro drive update when ????
Loved the review Zack! Immediately ordered 2.
Hope you enjoy it!
Scooping daisy is so cute and glad it worked well!
Im glad that they sell a high voltage version of this as well, could you by chance get one of them and give it a test?

We have been using the Malenki Nano in our flea weight bots for the last year. I couldn't imagine making weight without it.

Ooh, I'd never thought of it like that
Have you ever lost an ESC on a Malenki?

Wow... what a game changer!
I didn't know you were an 8 time world champion! What events did you win?
I won RoboGames 150g division three times
And the Robogames 1 pound division five times
Ha! Our first first comment!
Too fast for me.
Yes you are!

will you update us on the progress on the main scorpius battlebot

Scoopsy Daisy is a great name, love it
Zach wouldn't crimping be more secure against the shock loads? 🤔 🤔
I have several of those here. They are excellent. I fight in 150g class.
Oooh I just got one of those!!
That’s actually how I built the first bot I made is with this chip it’s great for beginners to learn with btw represent the burgh man

Turnabot is the US importer
@@Mendtat111 More accurately, Turnabot is a US company that is non-exclusively manufacturing and distributing an open source device.
This isn't uncommon, Xometry a sponsor of numerous battlebots teams gets many parts made for them by team Whyachi but markets them as their own.
Just for the record, Robson is aligned with us being known as the US manufacturer. We enjoy an excellent relationship with them :)
Well I guess one of the downpoints is if that board goes the whole robot goes, but it would be easy enough to replace.
Next giveaway might be boxes of South Korean boards...
It's actually 3 brushed escs, and people have programed them to run omni wheels.
The winner is Robert Darkwing Duck 6079.
