About Me
My name is Brandon Herrera. I'm the owner and operator of The AK Guy Inc, a 07 Firearm Manufacturer based out of Fayetteville, NC. I also co-own Stark Media Group, and designed the rifle known as the AK-50.
I've started to dedicate this TH-cam channel above all to have fun, but also as a way to document my entrepreneurial journey for the next few years as I try to grow my companies. Hopefully, people can learn from my example, successes, and failures.

@@danieljob3184 Assuming that SA in this case is South Africa, there are at least some people working to illegally sell guns to civilians anyway. That's why we've seen some militias armed with M4s and AKs. Probably a lot of old guys who were running guns to Rhodesia during the war and now once again have a good use for those skills and connections

I know a guy who’s used a Taurus as a service pistol for years, said he’d never trade it for anything else!
I used to have a neighbor that thought his .22 had more stopping power than my 9
I like my snub nosed 38 spl taurus. I don't know why. Its not accurate, but it is obnoxiously loud and i can fire it fast enough to get yelled at at the indoor range.
Probably cause nobody will take it for trade lol
Idk how you'd use a taurus to service yourself, but I guess if that's what you're into
He'd never trade it for anything else because you cant trade thrash for a functioning gun

I mean I cant really hit shit with it, because its a snub nose, but I can shoot it fast enough to scare people at the range. Plus its loud.

I've actually put through well over 1000 rounds through my G3 with no failures. It's probably closer to 2000 now but I stopped keeping count after 1000. Only failures were from bad primers on shitty ammo. I've shot around 200 rounds of steel through it too. Did about 500 rounds through it without cleaning it once because I just didn't feel like cleaning it for a while. I've had more failures from other firearms from S&W actually. Had a failure to feed about once every magazine on a Shield. Had it looked at and still had issues. It was for my mom and I ended up selling it for a different S&W. Still has a failure every few magazines. I personally do all the cleaning and such on both of our pistols so it's not that. I know Taurus had a bad rep for a while but for a budget firearm (I hate that term. In aviation there's a four seat airplane that sells new for up to $1 million. You can do pretty much the same thing with ones from other manufactures for a quarter of that, sometimes less. We don't call them budget airplanes) at least in my experience it's not bad. I don't have the money or the time to shop like I'd like.

Well, 5.7 does have some pretty painful limits. The poly case coating for extraction doesn't play well with reloading dies, and the primer pocket walls are really thin so full pressure reloads aren't a great idea. Otherwise it's fine if you like having to shop like it's coof season when everything else is on shelves. 22 tcm*1.5" would be my preference.
I guess Brandon wants P50 in a 7,62×25 Tokarev
5.7 is really a pretty terrible cartridge tho

I was one of the 1st time buyer last year. I got it because I had a bonus from work and my boss took me to the shooting range on my bday to determine on which gun felt good in my hands before buying one.

@@Interceptor00X 2nd is the best mechanically, it's more refined and the gameplay is tighter, more varied, better systems, etc. But the story of the first one stood on its own without the need for Last Light's plot about the child dark one, felt kinda heavy handed compared to the pickeresque nature of the first one

I was going to comment on how reliable my Taurus .44 Mag revolver is & then you reminded me that front site flew off of it the 3rd time i took it to the range.

@@forrestgraves4022 That blows. The only Taurus I own is the 6 inch barrel 44 mag and it's been great so far (probably 500 rounds or so). It's a range toy though, definitely wouldn't go with Taurus for something I was planning on defending my life with.
