    I think we should include medical grade eye creams. I’ve struggled with my under eyes. Used everything including SkinMedica, SkinCeuticals, Obagi …..EVERYTHING! Finally tried Revision DEJ eye cream. What a miracle and I’m 74 years old. Tried everything- Revision made a HUGE difference!!! I’ll never be without it!!

      @@MrsMelissaM seriously I’m 74 - started using it at 69 and was shocked at the difference- use it top lids and under eye. Pricey but lasts for well over 6 months. I’m addicted to SkinMedica stuff but the Revision DEJ is at the top of my list

      @@melissaluvsplease1664 I could but I get it from online companies that sell Revision skin care like Lovely Skin or Dermstore. Amazon has it but I think bit more expensive. I’ve been using the Benton Fermentation eye cream & the SS Urea eye cream for almost 2 years. I’ve tried other’s here and there, but those two are the bomb together. Something new I’ve been doing in the morning when my eyes are puffy. I will load them up with the Fragrance Free Neutrogena Face cream instead of an oil, get my Gua-Sha tool wet, and go over my eyes. Then let it soak in a bit, wipe off the excess, then apply the Dynamic Duo. Really helps to depuff ! Recently I tried Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse Eye Cream, and it got really great reviews, but did nothing for me. Maybe if you’re not so dry under your eyes. 🤷‍♀️ I love the Alpha Skincare body lotion, it’s awesome. I might check out their eye serum. Thanks Melissa ! ☺️💜☺️

    Hi Melissa. I still use the Benton essence you recommended for dry mature skin. Well I pump a little extra around my eyes & boom moisturizing eye cream. Thanks for showing their eye cream. I'll give it a try this winter ( just put it in my cart),, for my very dry under eyes in the winter. BTW, while it super moisturizing, it plumps my aged tired skin and has lightened dark spots and whitening under my racoon eyes aren't as bad. I'm 2 months in and I'm on the same bottle. Absolutely love this product.

    For number #2 and #3 recommendations, do you recommend only putting it om at nightsince it turns the cells over? Or is it ok to use the Alpha during the day?

      Hi Jeannie. The further into menopause, I get the more sensitive my skin gets. I find it very soothing & for me especially around my eyes. Urea is a product doctors recommend for diabetics that have super dry skin.

    I got the Youth to the People Serum a little while back and LOVE it. I usually don’t find eye serums hydrating enough but it’s more of a creamy texture and super hydrating. BUT….the pump on it is HORRIBLE! I can’t even use it! The product refuses to come out no matter how long I sit there pumping it 🤦‍♀️ I thought it was just me but read reviews and others seemed to have the issue. So I switched it to something else and it works fine in that 😂 I was almost so annoyed with it, I was just going to return it and not even try it. But I’m sooooo glad I decided to try it out first instead because I LOVE it…even with the horrible pump I’ll be buying it again (and I’m sure switching it into a different bottle again 😂 but maybe not 😅)

    • @MrsMelissaM
      @MrsMelissaM  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh that's so frustrating! You would think since it's a bit more expensive, they could put a better pump on there, right?!

    • @onewhisper22005
      @onewhisper22005 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrsMelissaM right?! It’s so annoying when that happens, but especially when it’s more on the expensive side! Hopefully, they’ll improve the pump 🤷‍♀️ It’s rare for me to be willing to repurchase something that’s frustrating like this one but I love how it works under my eyes so I don’t mind having to switch it. But, would definitely prefer not to have to 😂

    My favourite eye cream is the CLINIQUE All About Eyes (Rich). I really like this one because it is so moisturizing. If you have dry under eyes, this is the eye cream for you!! I can put it on at night and it doesn't make my eyes water. My husband also has very sensitive eyes, and this is the only eye cream that doesn't make his eyes water or burn. CLINIQUE also has the regular All About Eyes, which is more of a gel cream. I don't find it moisturizing enough for me. Lastly, I highly recommend The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% solution. I use that under my eyes once a week as an exfoliant. I usually apply it to my face and undereyes once a week on a night that I don't use any other actives such as Retin-A. It really helps to remove dead skin flakes and make the undereye skin look smoother. It doesn't cause any irritation whatsoever, but I do see a difference in how my skin looks. It is gentle enough to use close to the eyes on the delicate under eye skin, but I wouldn't use it on my eyelids. They also have a 10% Lactic Acid, which I can use on my face, but I prefer the 5% to use under the eyes. It's also more gentle for sensitive skin. Some people can use the 10% without any issues, but I find it too strong to use on a more regular basis. Everyone is different!!
