I find it amazing that even after 5 years since this game came out, some people keep making remixes or covers and remakes of Undertale's musics, it is endless, and it is amazing
Looks like the Iron Giant respawned in a fantasy universe where he is now a colossal knight, fighting lovecraftian demons from space who threaten Earth. This is a perfect soundtrack for that story.
Very, very epic. There's a slight expectation to most remixed and alternate versions of this song. All of them are pretty much the same in most ways with only a style change. And then, there's this. This feels like an entirely different instance. A whole new meaning and time. Like someone took up the mantle of True Hero when the first fell. It's sung in the unfamiliar verses and differing flow. In the beginning, there is a sadness. A knowledge. And in that different theme is where the idea of a Second comes through. Maybe the First was someone they deeply idolized. And their passing was hard to make peace with. Hence, here they stand in the way of true evil. They stand in that way to fight it like the First had. They'd take their despair and turn it into resolve. Unlike the first who laid the groundwork for the next, the second came in with a single goal: to fight until finally, they Triumph. And that is rung loud and clear in how the song evolves and again how it ends. Now, this is truly cool. Such a different and fresh take to such a great song, dude.

Three problems would need to be taken care of. 1. Kid, as I'll call them, has no shown arms and is depicted as if not possessing them. Thus, they already have a disadvantage. 2. Kid is portrayed as the weakest of all monsters in all combined ways. They are, after all, just a child. Not very skilled, rough and green, not very strong. As is, that is a taller cliff to climb than the one they help the player hop over in Waterfall, especially given that, if they are a child like WE are assumed/known to be, then think of how much weaker even than you considered, they are to a human. Monsters never once took a soul in the Great War. 3. They have no established part to play in the plot. Whoever Kid is, the game never says anything about other than some hints or snips. ... But that all can make this have tremendous payoff as well. A kind of Emporio Vs. Father Pucci setup. Its a lot of effort to dump into a nearly unimportant face in the game, but I like to think there's more than enough here to work with. If all lore and character cards are played that CAN be played, it would probably be an amazing payoff. The problem is that you ARE basically betting against 'yourself'. If Kid winning their fight against the 'True Evil' came true, you essentially accept defeat or there is something else that happens in which losing is essential to winning. After all, you take the role of True Evil by taking on the Genocide/Bad Route. Maybe its role reversal. Maybe losing is a one and done thing and they get the soul you possessed to complete the Seven. But if so, that's awful frustrating for gameplay reasons. Thus, back to role reversal as an option. Player taking over enemy either before the fight or during for getting to the right point. That way, there's even bigger pay-off for winning, here. Or maybe it's not as big a win as the player might think. There's always what Kid thinks, after all. ... Ouo well. That's only my take on how it could possibly be handled. There's probably no way that anyone would *ever* bother. I mean, Kid isn't exactly popular at all and we have so many other fan favorites. I'm sure the other guys seem much easier to set in that position... The problem with doing that is expressly within the reason that they are all fan favorites: all of them have a role they are currently playing. They make very little sense. I can much more easily task a less popular character with the "New Hero" role than someone who already has one. But I'm talking way too much~.
No lie the best remix ever done. The transitions are seamless and just perfect. This video deserves so much more appreciation. The beautiful silhouette of a beginning, to the epic rock solos, and just amazing changes of pace without destroying the theme.

From the intro, to the mix of metal and electronic, the arrangement that plays with some of the original's melodies and timing to just... the _vibe_. I love it. More please!! The fully original bits are also absolutely stunning and feel like they always were meant to be part of the music from the start. Wow!

This has to be the best cover of this song I've heard so far. At the same time conveys the motives heroism, perseverance, determination, sacrifice, tragedy and death. Wish someone did like a really epic animation of this battle to this soundtrack.

Gives really much vibes for some kind off 2010s styled RPG game, like if Undertale was dark and intended as modern (2015, not late 90s early 2000s) game with serious and grim plot. I just imagine HD version of game with non-pixel characters and evironment; dark cave catacombs, meeting Undyne somewhere under a hole above bringing cold rays with dusk light emited by crystals; beautiful backgrounds for battles like this; the battle takes turns between that lighted circle while both Frisk and Undyne are covered by shadows, sometimes you can see Undyne's silhouette while she is breathing and starting attack (Imagine her looks is the same as shown on thumbnail)
I love the sci-fi sort of vibe this remix gives off, particularly in the second half! It makes it feel like an Undyne from the future coming back with a burning thirst for vengeance. So glad I found this!
