    This is what I call a "Surgical Conversation"...TONS of great information and easy to grasp the concept(s) without getting off topic. The kind of podcast that everyone should strive to have. Well done on both sides of the interview.

    Jacob you have so much knowledge! This was one of the best hunting tactic podcasts I’ve heard to date! I’ve devoted the last several years to hunting using a lot of the same tactics mostly learned from watching Dan Infalt. Also, get this… I know your brother Christian! I’ve bought several amazing knives from him. He makes some of the nicest hand made knives on the market!!! If anyone needs a great outdoors blade please look up Lishen Knives! I asked him after watching this if you were related! You guys sound identical!!! Crazy haha! Anyway I will be following you for sure! I just found the southern outdoorsmen channel recently as well!!!

    I’ve got a question do y’all think a certain mature buck on a certain property with limited access to that property. Do you think that a mature buck in that setting with a ton of security would be deemed not killable?

    • @thesouthernoutdoorsmen
      @thesouthernoutdoorsmen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As in the property has very limited access and a lot of security cover? And you can’t really access it without bumping him?

    • @robbieandliz.p5032
      @robbieandliz.p5032 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thesouthernoutdoorsmen correct I mean I can ask surrounding landowners if I could access public from their property for different winds. But this buck I’m hunting has two main bedding areas and I can’t get close to him without him knowing I’m there or just completely bumping him.

    Coming from a central NC farm, greatly appreciate the advice. Can’t wait to apply some of these strategies

    This is probably the most cut and dry strategy you guys have had. Im gonna take a guess that this guy will be the leading giant killer for a while. Im going on 3 Five day hunts. This is the way ill hunt.

    He must hunt small wood blocks where deer are visible. The MSU deer lab is legit & those deer bed all over the place because it’s in Mississippi. The place I hunt, you CAN NOT narrow down his bedding area. Big wood river swamp, they are nomadic, they bed different place everyday day & night.
