Instead of adding new races as allied races they should give us already existing races that have already joined the factions like Ogres and Tonka. I'd also like to see members of our warband be usable in follower dungeons.
Mythic 0s being the equivalent of 10s in both difficulty and rewards with no timers or modifiers genuinely makes me want to play mythic dungeon agains
I mostly like it as it will help bridge players to m+ better as people can see mechanics in a more controlled less timer filled way. I like m+ as it is, but this change seems great for catching that group of players and getting them better and more invested which is great

@@Siaman668if you dont die 30-40 times, it is within the timer. So basically, you like wipefest? I mean, if you do it normally, not even on elite level, you dont need to feel pressure about the timer.

Genuinely if it was the case where visibility was better and things were telegraphed I wouldn’t mind the timer. But with how it is now, it just kinda feels like I’m being punished for mistakes that the game causes.
Bell, remember BFA, even Sethrak had a ton of customization to the point that people thought Allied race.
The folks talking about Sethrak were always coping. Helms never would have worked with them & back then Blizz didn't do races that couldn't show armor pieces.
The true comparison is Vuplera, which used a pre-existing playable rig & showed customization & ability to equip armor & weapons.

@@dr.zoidberg8666 Sethrak used a worgan frame base, much as the Vulp used a gnome one. They could have made helms work on them with no more issue then worgan or tauren have to this day.
i've been playing the game since Vanilla, Follower Dungeons are something that i wish we had 20 years ago, as Vanilla questing would ultimately lead you to the dungeons to take care of what lies within. perfect example being the Defias Brotherhood in the Deadmines, but no one wanted to party up with a Holy Pally back then, so i didnt get to finish those questlines until soloing instances was a thing.

Yeah, hugely happy about this. It removes the wait for the group finder, too, so it's more immersive.
I really hope they add a version for raids too, even if it doesn't have rewards.
@@TaliesinMyrddin A version for raids is unlikely. Even if they don't add it for 25 man, only for 10, it would still require 9 NPCs that have to be programmed to deal with every single mechanic in every single raid. It will be very difficult to pull off, unless the NPCs are almost invinsible, which will make it a boring grind, not a challenge.
I am SO HAPPY that I can do solo dungeons, without needing to depend on other players, or they on me. I hope they will ad this option in raids too
single player raids? Hell why not make the whole game single player, take out any mmo aspect lmao
@@0ihatetrolls01 there are some people who want to have casual adventure in wow and not to depend on others. My real life friends do not play wow, most of them are not even gamers, and I do not like to play with unknown people. Solo raids would be a blesing for casual players like myself. Blizz said themself that they let casual players down.
Also not everyone has whole day to play a game. That would save some time

@@jc6087 Rubbish. You can enjoy the vast amount of features of an MMO without playing with others, and huge amounts of players do. Very few MMOs requires you to group anymore, because they know if they don't cater to casuals and soloers, they won't survive.
I just need to point out; It sounds like the war within is Warlords of Draenor level storytelling. They had dungeons wrapped directly to the story. WoD only fell short on content delivery, not bad content.
Shadow moon valley one of the best leveling experience in 20 years of content. Hype 😍
What killed WoD were the garrisons. Not having a hub for everyone was awful and I’m glad they scrapped that experiment.
But in terms of quest/story, dungeon, and raids it was good. They had some super fun boss fights. Just wish they didn’t do the whole farmville style daily quests.
As someone who plays mainly solo, having AI companions that can do Dungeons and Raids with would be great. As long as there implemented properly .

Seriously, almost ANYTHING from Draenor/Outland would be a win. Ogres, yes please. Arakkoa with and without wings? Hnnng. Ethereals? Ohmygodyes! Hell, I'd even take Sporelings and Broken if I had to.
Mok'nathal would be great to have for Ogre Orcs.

The reason we get all these dumb new races is that it's the new generation of blizzard employees who care less for existing story and lore and more so inserting their own ideas into the game, which is where we got dracthyr and now these weird hybrid elves from. We should have had ogres, naga, etc by now.
Considering the casual and mid-core players outnumber diehards and elite players by a huge margin, it makes sense to make the game more attractive. I've been saying this for years now. You don't make much money on the select few, you need the volume of players. D4 gauntlet is a great example of this. Casual players won't run it because it's only for the elite players.

Yah, also as a SG-1 fan, I recognised Master Braytaks voice immediately way back when and I always smile when Khadgar is in-game, cos i think back to the happy times of SG-1
Being able to 'send' currency is a great improvement. What would be the best improvement is if you can also just access it. No need to send it as the currency is instead linked between all characters.
Having dungeons be a key part of the story like legion is so much better.
Concentration sounds really good for crafting.
While it could become quite grindy, it would be possible to work toward that big craft. Gets my thumbs up.

I get weird time lord / Dr who mess up with time and lore that she's going to be from a weird time from before and she's a "true" Lothar and want to make her a superior version by using his namesake or something. Maybe even "I'm the one who gave them their last name and we were lost in time." Idk if any of this will happen but...something feels off.
The currency transfer is a "take from alt" rather than a "send to alt" like it is now. You no longer need to logout and back in twice. It's a shame it wasn't like this from the beginning but it's great that they are finding these things and making them better.

I hadn't thought about that angle regarding solo access to dungeons and therefore more freedom for devs to embed part of the main story arcs through them. Basically, longer scenarimatics.
Midcore and Casuals have been underserved, understatement of the year. At least they are acknowledging that, now they just have to prove they really are genuine about rectifying that issue.
The no mount from awakened LFR isn't a good way to start though.
100k will probably get you the Normal raids boosted at the end-ish of the expansion, so, being casual, grind some gold and get a carry.
LFR raiding I think still will be valuable, since I think bullion drops from those bosses.
The follower dungeon thing is great. Putting in so much effort into the group makes it hard to enjoy the location. Helps things story wise
Making the Mythic dungeons the same as the current season Mythic+ rotation would be best, cause it would make sure people doing mythic were also practicing and learning the mechanics for mythic + where TIME MATTERS. and sending them into new dungeons would just make that nature kinda mute.
From what I know TWW S1 has 8 dungeons in M+ rotation and 8+4 M0 dungeons.
i believe war bands should be used for those quest we sent our followers on. it would be a good way to level alts while you level your main. ways to gain certain items, transmog, gear, mats and food drops.
The war within is looking like a great expansion for casuals delevs being added to the vault,pvp gear added to a vendor finally and solo shuffle and solo queue rbgs the future of wow pvp.the only thing is i have 8 lvl 70s i need to level and leveling will be faster as well.
this is looking like a great expansion.

I had no idea Master Bra'tac was the voice actor for Kadgar! How the hell did I never realize this after binging SG series 20-40 times over the years.
Moving away from arena and onto BG's is going to be a breath of fresh air. I honestly cannot wait for this next expansion!
This is great news about arenas. I'm like youBel. I just hope we can access pvp mounts more easily as a result.
I personally really like the follower dungeons, I just dont have a ton of time to play these days so being able to hop on and chill is actually really nice

So, the Follower Dungeons are the best thing, and one of the few good thing (IMHO) that came from Dragonflight. However...Blizzard? STOP SCREWING WITH THE LEVELING! OR, if you really feel like you HAVE to add a "speed leveling" Make it a system you can activate at an NPC, rather than the default! The Journey to the end is always more enjoyable than the end. (For me, at least. Just ranting, here) Hopefully we get more new abilities beyond the Hero Talents, as well. And looking forward to the Harronir info. If they are revealed to be either A: The middleground between Dark Trolls and Night Elves, or B) The Proto Trolls we were promised in Dragonflight, I will be happy. Trolls are my favorite race, and more and more evidence (As far as I have seen) seems to point to them being, like Dragons, born of Azeroth, and not Titan influence. Much excitement coming!

I salute the devs wanting to improve the story and not make it quite so... bad. Only slight problem with this particular play though is that we now know the shadow lands exists. If our dude kicks the bucket, he's not really dead, is he? He's just 'somewhere else.' That's not dead. My head canon is that he rocks up at Oribos, says, 'hi all, long time no see,' then heads down to the maw and bangs Sylvanas.
Well they hinted of primordial trolls in dragonflight that never happened so maybe they show this missing link of dark trolls/Night elves hybrid,if they are the allied race or just a race feat ingame that is another question.
So many that should have been already but never been playable like Taunka,Ogres and many.
why even make another race if its basically just another elf, just make it a customization option and move on...
Ok, sending currency to your alts via a UI button is better sure, but why not just let all the currency attach to the account and not the toon? If we can send stuff over so freely it still seems like a step down from just every currency being in the same place from the start...
it's called that is a bit of spaghetti code too close to the core.
I believe I heard some currencies are still transferred with a loss, they probably just aren't ready for a totally shared pool. Maybe in the next iteration of unified account that will be implemented. :)
Upgrade crests are a currency and have a character cap. Having these be account wide immediately would be a horrible scenario.
@@MrMrSymmetry that and Blizzard doesnt want players funneling endgame player power, if it was an irrelevant currency, then i'm sure they wouldnt care. but that's the problem with a lot of players, they dont care about progressing as a single character, they think that because they can play one class good, all the other toons should get an easier climb up the ladder, but that is something Blizzard will never greenlight.
The body language difference between Holly and MrGM at 8:46 is worlds apart. Holly smiles, body facing him, barely breaks eye contact. MrGM barely looks up at here, nervous twitching and fiddling. I dunno who MrGM is but it just shows Holly's friendly and bold personality
I'm a big fan of the harronir design. Using the wowhead creator, I prefer the one with less body hair/quills, but the mix of troll and elf with the unique hair feels really cool.
So War Within, Alleria Windrunner turns into Xal'atath. Midnight, we fight Xal'atath to protect Azeroth. Last Titan, End of Azeroth as we know it. WoW 14.0: WoW 2.0/Reborn.
They just need to more options to the current races instead of just adding more sexy elf ones.
Still waiting on the actually monsterous "monster" women (ie. making female trolls slouch and giving female draenei brow-horns) &. slim men (seriously why are all the male models built like four-door sedans, there is no reason for my squishy draenei mage to be stacked), actual undead races, and female dwarf/male troll beards dammit.
Speaking as a long time player of wow (since early vanilla) I'm lookijg forward to the next xpac.

Imagine for a second if in the follower dungeon you could bring your alts in so instead of a preset characters you can opt in to bring your alt tank healer and dps and instead run dungeons with ai controlled alts
Super glad to hear they are making use of the follow dungeon system as part of the story so dungeons do not feel so disjoint. Great addition taken from FF14.

I know WoW was never really a game that people played for the story but I was wondering if you can do a video about the expansions that provide the most important lore for the upcoming expansion so new players can be attached to the story and play the game themselves a little bit.
I would really like to control the height of shoulder gear. In Wowmodelviewer, you can change the center point of geometry and some shoulders just feel incredibly different if they're not hovering half a foot above the actual shoulder.
Please explain to me why there needs to be a "ranked" solo queue battleground? It's just going to take over the spot unranked has, so why not just tie the awards to one mode instead of having two modes.

Of all the things on the list of races that people want, somehow I don't think "neanderthal troll elf hybrids" was very high up on anybody's list at all. Why do they refuse to give us Drakonids, Tuskarr, Fal'Dorei, Sethrak, Ogres, Naga, Vrykul, or Arrakoa? You know the things that people have asked for every time that someone asks what we'd like to see for an allied race??
Solo RBGs makes me so happy as a Veteran of the game. The worst part of RBGs was the political game of needing to create alliances with toxic RBG leaders. The higher you pushed your rating, the less fun the social aspect of the gameplay would be. It wasn’t a good experience overall.
I would prefer M0 (i.e. "regular" mythic) to be the xpac's dungeons, always, tbh. Feels more aesthetically coherent. Then again, I'm a casual who doesn't really care about min/maxing trinkets and the like.

At what point do we just skip leveling if we keep making leveling shorter? Just from a design standpoint it is interesting how many buffs they have to xp gains or reductions to xp requirements but there are still level skips sold in the store

There was nothing wrong with the burning of Teldrassil itself... the problem was that they treated it like it was something the Night Elves could forgive the Horde and even eventually Sylvanas for.
It was shit writing. Because even on the other side if they actually knew the factions, most of the horde would have split from sylvanas after the tree

We all know there's hero talents, but with 10 more levels are they expanding the actual talent trees? Y'all aren't covering the juicy already existing content. Do we just have the same skills for 10 more levels or are there new branches and skills/passives for regular trees + spec trees too?
No, the 71-80 talent points go to hero talents not our original talent trees. Some hero talents have new abilities. That's about it unless your spec gets a redesign.
I look forward to follower dungeons. I hope it's tied to the Warbands system so you bring your own characters as NPCs. But that's probably unrealistic.
Why move currencies, why can't we have account wide currency tab like in for example gw2?

Both niche demands. Sure the minority on the forums calling for them are loud... but they are a minority, & even everyone on the forums is a TINY fraction of the playerbase.
I personally wouldn't mind broken, but if we're to get another fat playable race I'd much rather Tuskarr.

They would need an expansion that features both of those races. Since we're comitted to returning to Quel'thalas and Northrend, maybe we will get outland again? What would be cool is the ogre continent hinted in WoD as an outland area

At the end of the Mag'har Orc allied race quest, you see "extras" came to Azeroth with you and quickly flee. The genesaur likely is finally calling back to that. Then with Khadgar, I wouldn't be shocked if we're trading him out for a Medivh return for TWW and Midnight, then Khadgar returns in TLT with him pulling a Gandalf the White situation.
That or the genesaur is somehow an inherent creature of "life" magic, a sort of base form. Like how we get naaru and stuff for other magic types. Maybe vine creatures are the base form for life magic. would be nice to explore that

Hey, guys. I didn't get very well as to the leveling. Is leveling going to be faster or slower? I'd so dearly appreciate a slower leveling experience, with no need to be vanilla like, but at least an experience which made me feel like my character is really progressing.

Arena is personally the only reason I kept playing wow. And since it’s so neglected, I’m probably not coming back unless they improve it drastically (mmr, balancing, gearing).
They seem to have night elf animations. Like the Nighborne.
They look kind of better than the Nightborne through not going to lie.
