I really like the format of nttt. No fluff. Words often just get in the way. This is much clearer than trying to explain everything by talking (and talking and talking...) Makes for shorter vids and I don't have to search through a 12min vid for a 20sec trick... Much easier on my ADD 🤪. Thanks and keep it up!
Your tutorials are amazing man. So easy to understand and yet they are exactly right. (If anyone asks how to do inv. yaw speeeen I will link this. ) One thing I do like to add is: When rolling into the inverted part: mix roll and yaw to have the horizon centered and when yaw-ing also add a little bit of roll in with the yaw - do you fly very low camera angle? I fly 30 Degrees and if I only use yaw I will yaw spin off axis.
Thanks bro, I really appreaciate your feedback! My camera is at 25deg. Oh right, that's the harder way. I've thought of making a tutorial about it, but I'm still figuring out how to make it easier to follow.
@@headmazta There's also LeDrib's version of pitching up I think while yawing? Haven't looked at it, but there are many ways to do an inverted yaw spin. I think the way you showed is the best way to start - it really gets you to understand the trick step for step. Good video, thanks for uploading.
@@LeRainbow Yeah, our imagination is only the limit. Try doing a Rubix Cube that ends in inverted yaw spin. I think it would be a pretty cool trick addition in your vids :)
Oh wow, I've been trying to yaw with the roll and roll with the yaw, this looks much easier and the result is so much better. Looking forward to giving it a go.
Are you saying to do this only so that you don't have to mix in the correct amount of roll, or does pure yaw generate less thrust than a yaw+roll? (Thus giving you more hang time)
Great video and lesson, thank you. May I know how to get that much hang time when inverted? Is it to disable air mode? Or Dynamic idle setting? Thanks again.
Do u have cam angle set in betaflight to coordinate yaw and roll for doing the yaw spin with only yaw stick I tried it once but never got it dialed in.
Hey @Headmazta ...having trouble with props spinning up excessively during the yaw spin?...is there a setting to fix this? i belive my idle currently is 5.5%....airmode is on....should i leave the settings and just try to work around it?....just scary when i know im being sucked into the ground😂😂
Hmm mine is 5%. What motors are you using? Maybe add a little more throttle time to gain more momentum and roll as quick as possible so that you're still going up while you're inverted.
Yes, if you end up not in the sweet spot (eg. your horizon is at the exact center of your view) then you will have to add roll input so that your horizon won't wobble.
@@headmazta doesnt it depend on your camera angle more than your sweet spot? if you are running anything but pretty much 0 degree tilt on your camera you are going to have to use roll stick. I dont see how there would be any way around that.
if i dont input roll aswell my yaw spin is wobbly does that have to do with camera angle? or is that not the case if you invert i notice you dont input roll and still your horizon is staying straight could be that im off axis slightly maybe
Once i start yaw inverted quad goes down much faster so in a quarter I have to roll back and catch … do. It get how you do it . And in the same time we still have intertidal so you may found yourself moving sideways .. in example it’s simple as you just going up …
I always used the gamepad style controllers but lemme tell you I have never been happier than with my tx16s. It's a beast in your hands but it's the only controller that hasn't given me issues with the gimbals. Even bought the cnc gimbals for the tbs tango 2 and one of them was defective and twitchy
Can you make a video on how to be snappy. I saw a video of your freestyle and your kinda like snappy going left and right but like stopping in between with a perfect snap, can you show how to do that?
I think this just may have solved inverted yaw spins for me. Your videos are amazing please keep doing them!
I guess practice makes perfect, but you make it look so easy.. appreciate the video!

I'm thinking he has to have camera angle set up in BF gui so it coordinates roll and yaw on its own.

The best inverted yaw tutorial on youtube. Thanks heaps
Thank you so much!
Thank you, I was nailing the loop back and loop all night last night I can’t wait to try the inverted yaw spin 🤩
You got this! Thanks bro!
These tutorials are sick thanks!

Ok you got my subscription. Pretty amazingly simple explanation.

when I do a lookback my quad automatically returns to the place,
Someone as a response for me?
wow perfect
do you share your rate?
Remember you have to integrate roll as well if your camera angle is higher than 0° to compensate
don't require in this method.
How are you not getting bounce back cause of the roll stick being let go and bouncing back from the springs.
Good question! It's because of RC Deadband that makes the system ignore those little spring bounces.
@@headmazta oh I see lol i about tried that one day I'll have to look into it and see how much to add and everything I wanna try it

Get a cheap Diatone Roma L5 for like $180 and fly that 👍

@@headmazta I've finally settled on using Dynamic idle...at 35. I love the way it feels.
NIce one but wots ur FPV cam angle?
it's 25deg :)
Is there a case where I need to use roll with yaw input in the step 2?
Yes, if you end up not in the sweet spot (eg. your horizon is at the exact center of your view) then you will have to add roll input so that your horizon won't wobble.
@@headmazta doesnt it depend on your camera angle more than your sweet spot? if you are running anything but pretty much 0 degree tilt on your camera you are going to have to use roll stick. I dont see how there would be any way around that.
thats why its better to pitch upside down imo
that way its more easy to get to the sweet spot as you can make up for your uptilt that way@@cflin4637

I see many people do this with roll instead of pitch as the first step, is it the same trick or does it have a different name?

Do all of it while you're still going up. You have to be very quick to invert. Good luck!
for recovery how come it takes a long time? how about the settings?
Here you go bro :) th-cam.com/video/3bHjOM4WVRk/w-d-xo.html Hmm perhaps it's because i'm in 6s and i'm doing a lot of upwards momentum.
the spring on my right stick is not tight enough to return perfectly centre, if it tightens too much it becomes too stiff =\
It's fine, just add rc deadband
