Spawn #1 (Black and White) last sale for a 9.8 was October 21 for $2500. Before that two others were sold for for $3150 in September and $3250 in August so as expensive as that book is, looks like the buyer got a solid deal. Not too many of them on the census though in that grade. (124 at the moment)
A great idea to bring comic info Pat and vanna would be so proud!! All cool books but like you often say,,,I’m not ready to dish out that kinda money especially for titles that everyone has!!
Fantastic video I saw a little bit of the atCon Wolverine 1 is definitely one I’m waiting on it’s maybe a $200 9.8 in my opinion if there wasn’t thousands graded I could understand the premium a bit more A copy went up on elite 11 I think it was..someone was asking $12,000 for a 9.9 and I don’t know when are asking prices a little too unrealistic and with new 9.9 and 10’s of that book I’d hate for someone to spend that much and it loses $11,000 But this is good information and I appreciate the videos I’m looking for vintage while prices seem to be low grabbing what I can while it’s in my price range My goal book is something silver age Batman this weekend but I wouldn’t mind finding something golden age either or some early Thor
Glad the market seems to be deflating the Neal Adams bubble. All because he died a couple of years ago. Realising that bronze Age books aren't rare with pages and pages of listings on eBay and on every wall at a convention.
9.8 Wolverine 1 may have sold for more only because the CPR opportunity for a 9.9. Purchaser could undercut the market and sell a 9.9 for 8k and still make a killing.

Glad to see some of these getting closer to affordable. Great list
I was hoping Donna from the Jim Jerkhammer news room would turn the letters. 😅

That Eminem book is worth 5 dollars. People love pissing money away on modern variant trash. Love the video.
