My uncle and aunt are in this video, they are on a motorcycle together at the beginning, the very last biker they show before it cuts away is them. I remember seeing this a long time ago at there house. Very nostalgic for me.
You wake up some days with memories from decades past stuck in your craw and you scour the internet for a peek. Oh man, the paramount nerd-dom of Shaffer on that motorcycle with the rear projection playing! I still feel the embarrassment.
We're seeing Paul Schaffer with that much hair! You want embarrassment, I can't remember the song but I distinctly remember a video in which he was wearing an electric light up shirt with dozens of tiny lightbulbs that flashed star patterns... 🙀
The rapper at the beginning is "Ecstasy" from Whodini. Obviously Bob O"Boyle doesn't know his rappers. People really should do their homework before they make idiotic comments.
I only ever remember seeing this video twice, once when it first came out and once when it was aired in a "worst videos of the year" show; which was too bad because it's a pretty catchy song...BTW who's the rapper on the first verse?
Holy shit! Was the worst video program the one that had a fake French guy saying how much this song smelled? I was like 6 or 7 at the time and I loved this song. I was so disappointed when the fake French guy made fun of it
@@fletchkeilman2205 I think that was the yearly Fromage show on MuchMusic hosted by Christopher Ward; he would film it in a cheese shop and dress in a silly French outfit...
Forgot about this song. OK, so Will didn't always make the best choices in his rap career as this song clearly demonstrates. And here I am playing it for sentimental reasons anyways. Damn you, TH-cam...
Oh, I don't know. He did a fair amount of low-key discrete back up work back in the day, remember Paula Abdul's "Opposites attract"? Will was MC Skat Kat's voice. That was fun as is this. I particularly like the way he worked in a nod to his own hit at the time - "...but all my parents ever said was' turn it down!'" 😸
Do you folks just not get that Paul Shaffer meant this as a joke and was making fun of himself and people in the music industry (and/or on motorcycles) who take themselves so seriously? Its a joke folks, a JOKE. You remember jokes yes? Incredibile. Smh.
Concept was OK but a waste of the doo-wop talent--except for the beginning (which is snipped off) they are mostly relegated to background singers singing repetitive chorus...yawn
I don't know what's better; unearthing this forgotten treasure, or seeing it on VHS! Finest Kind, Bravo Zulu!

This was the first single I ever owned. Great great song!

So glad Paul saved his daughter from that bad man and he took her to safety on his motorcycle.
🤣🤣
Paul is the man!!!....kookieee yeeeahhh....
I love the song...
Robin Sparkles sent me here.
Just delighted that somebody else also had those two stupid lines floating up their screen on their cable! I hated that!
Dion Dimucci!!
Fresh Prince of Bell Air tune.
I really hate to say this, but no wonder Paul Shaffer stuck to being a house musician for Letterman, lol!
This happened and we let it happen
just tweeted this to Paul, hope he replies....
Most definitely the Skeleton on the Masked Singer 💀
