My favorite reference to this creepy story is the floor pattern In the top left of pilot quest. The grass is shaped like a crickets head. At the end, the credits show Greg-milk was the level designer. PS the secret game is called MIASMA TOWER. it only makes sense because the execute code is “mias” and a game called “miasma tower” is said to be worked on by Greg milk before he starts working on the ufo 50 project.
Yo! I'm glove, I run the UFO 50 discord and am very surprised at all the cool secrets and stuff the devs included, but even more surprised at how fast the community is at figuring this stuff out! You guys rule
My friend discovered the code in the Night Manor history (because he loves all that extra detail yall put in) and we were sitting at the pub sitting on the turn yourself blue clue. Next thing I know him and I over the next 3 hours figured it out back and forth for each clue, so much fun!!
After "completing" Miasma Tower as seen in this video, there are more clues that appear in the former areas. The Audio room with Joy Akebi and creative director room with Thorson Petter catch fire. Joy says something like "check with Thorson, he's seeming obsessive and not in a good way". Akebi's brother in his cubicle mentions to Greg that "Thorson says Campanella 3 needs to be updated in the 50-game collection. Sorry, but he's apparently still adding stuff to it." Thorson in his room still just ignores you and repeats "games within games within games..." but in his room are papers that it says are "covered with 6x4 grids". Well, Campanella 3's radar is a 6x4 grid, and on the title screen we can see a specific pattern on a 6x4 grid. Not sure how to put these clues together, but I'm sure they'll point us toward another secret, or perhaps another whole layer of secrets.
Hilariously I went on a *completely different path* with the skin being blue thing! I thought it was "get a game over Rakshasa" and it even gave me a different hint! (Course I got it on accident because I actually just died to the first boss)
wish i was there when this was happening, feels like when I played inscryption before, i was late to the end game secrets, those discord guys crowdsourced the heck out of this great concept though although it shouldn't be a helicopter that took him away, it should be a...ufo
I cannot for the life of me clear the campanella prototype im so distraught. I tried the actual thing once and i hated the controls and ive never been great at games like that so playing a worse version of it is like pulling teeth to me. You move too fast, the level is cramped, you run out of fuel while waiting, you cant touch Anything you can barely slow down. I'm in gaming hell 😭
I misunderstood a couple hints and skipped portions of the search by sheer dumb luck, lmao. I interpreted "turn your skin a shade of blue" to mean play a game in which the character's skin is blue... So I booted up Ninpek and checked the terminal immediately and bada bing. The second one I missed was the one you get in the basement part of Miasma Tower. I just saw the couch and was like "Hey, that's mentioned in the Warptank info!" Played Warptank and just looked for something weird, lol.
Theres a bug where if u enter the terminal code again and go to the helicopter you can still walk around the tower invisible with the “experience by..” still on the screen
I entered SPEL-UNKY into the terminal and was disappointed when nothing happened, I realized I would have no idea how to look for secrets compared to other people. Seems I was exactly right, the internet is full of super sleuths haha
It's largely a collaborative effort to be fair, it's just a ton of people finding something suspicious and going "this anything?" and occasionally someone will pop up with "Oh that's the answer I was looking for to my problem!"
Becoming aware of how to use the terminal really feels like opening a third eye, makes an already fantastic game something more than that

8:08 Interesting note - Val, the character in the "GODSBLOOD" prototype; seems to be one of the selectable characters in the Quibble Race game.

As a filthy casual, I wanna thank all of the dedicated people for sharing this with us!
had no idea any of this existed, and I thought just 50 games was enough
Well, it is. This is just the cherry on top.
I see what you did there

I'm trying to keep up with everyone's findings, but it's getting hard to keep track of 😰
Press A+B on the second player controller while Campanella 3 is running.

Games looks fun. Something for everybody.
Cool !
I hope you'll be making other videos on UFO 50 as things progress

I believe in you!!
@volcanolotus64 Have you cleared it? I’m having trouble with the prototype too.
How do you get into the audio room I legitimately feel like I'm going insane here, i'm told to go to the audio room, the audio room is locked
i would have never guessed this was in the game 😭. thought the terminal was to put in cheat codes or something, had no plans of ever using it
