Great looking machine, I remember when my General was that clean. If I ever get it back from the dealership's mechanic we should shop for fire extinguishers and ride together.
@@russ9897 your probably right but I enjoy constantly working on my machine and reliability is the least of my concerns. Few things are more exhilarating than being out in the bush with a Polaris, knowing that death lies around the next corner.
Your switch wires are plugged into what? An aftermarket buss bar? If you install the kit to make the 3 Honda factory 3 amp switches live, could you wire this kit to one of those spots. Replacing the factory switch with the new one?
Do you have to put it auto reverse every time you use the machine? Or can I leave that on and just turn the key off. If I just turn the key off, will the switch light stay on a kill my battery. I have the dual light now and considering adding the switch.
I ordered this switch/harness ... will that backup/reverse plug on the machine run a 90 watt led lightbar??? The wires at that plug seem to be on the small side

Thanks for watching, the General is a nice machine but maybe a Pioneer would serve you better.

What brand of backup lights are you running and what size?
Do you have a link to the auto reverse and the switch harness?
Brian, the link is in the description.

You can run the lights independently and if you shut them off it kills the power to the lights and backlighting on the switch.

frank a, I think a 90 watt would be ok. I have the dual light kit and I think they are 72 watts apiece or combined.
@@russ9897 OK thanks!
