You're ONE lucky girl . I got the privilege of a chance encounter with one of John Farnham's sisters and a nephew of his . They're truly a nice , humble & generous family . One of the things that forever breaks my heart is that I'll never have THAT experience that you had with him . ♑️✍️🇸🇯🇦🇺
Saw john with LRB in San Jose auditorium in 1983 .I thought I was going to see glen up there to my surprise it was this new guy named john he rocked the house so hard thought the walls were going to come down.this guy could sing folks
Look at the way he works that microphone...that's a man who was classically trained and knows how to use a microphone like second nature. He's a true professional, you just don't see that these days.
I have always wished I could see him in concert. For over 20 years now. He is as magical a stage performer as a singer. He was born to do what he does oh! so well. God Bless and I hope to see you JF even if you are 90 lol
Every time I hear his voice,it reminds me of when mine was just as good, but never quit smoking, now I pay the price. In the beginning we really didn't think it had any effect, the sad part is,I kept smoking after it became common knowledge of how bad they were for you.
He's officially Aussie now. He was nominated for Australian of the year in 1987 (and won). As part of his nomination it became apparent that he had never taken out citizenship. It was rushed through and he is now definitely an Aussie. I went to a concert of his several years ago and he proclaimed when he was on stage in Melbourne "it's so good to be home". John Farnham is an Australian without doubt...and a proud one at that.
With all due respect, and don't get me wrong here, but he really should get rid of the xtra weight.Beautiful voice, damn good looking guy but please get rid of the weight for your own benefit.
Exactly Passionate Picker. Fighting Force, he was bloody well born in England ok we get it!!!!! However he calls Australia home & even calls himself an Aussie. Now for Christ sake change the channel, we are all getting sick of this bloody story!!!!!!
I have loved him since Sadie...and got the chance to tell him so.
He was just wonderful to talk too as well. One great Aussie right there !!!

John has said he's never had any singing lessons. When did he classically train? I can't find any reference to that. Thank you. Apl'24. UK. E ❤
@@EileenSpeakman I just assumed he had been considering his professionalism.
No formal training. He is a natural singer. He appears to have got the genes from his father's side of the family.

We have a few of his DVD's, my missus loves him. She was a big fan of The Little River Band, a group he used to be in.
