This level crossing is located on the Pakenham line, near Beaconsfield Station; with Electric Suburban trains stopping here, while regional DMUs run express through the station. As of the time of publishing, work has startted on grade separation at this level crossing, being an overpass to take traffic over the rail corridor.
The crossing equipment includes:
- Westinghouse Incandescent Lights (Black and Silver, Marked and Unmarked)
- Westinghouse Crossbucks
- 1 General Signals Type 2 E-Bell, and 1 Type 3 E-Bell
- Westinghouse Boom Gate Mechanisms
- 2 Westinghouse Bases, 1 Concrete Base, and 1 VR Base
As of publishing, this crossing has been listed as one of the level crossings to be removed by the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), and has started grade seperation. The grade seperation is being done by elevating the road above the rail corridor, and this is planned to be finished by next year (2025).
