  • Here are some of my best tips and tricks to having a successful military "DITY"/PPM PCS! I hope you find this helpful. Please leave your questions and PCS tips in the comments!
    Binder tabs I used:
    *Before any dividers keep a small zipper pouch for most receipts and a sheet protector for remaining large receipts.*
    1) Orders
    2) Projected Departure Date (helpful if you need to have it changed)
    3) Assignment MFRs (useful for special duty assignments)
    4) Security (for sponsor outprocessing)
    5) Medical
    6) TMO
    7) Finance
    8) Housing at losing station
    9) Hotel Confirmations
    10) My husband
    11) Myself
    12) Kid 1
    13) Kid 2
    14) Fat Amy (our dog)
    15) Housing at gaining station

    Husband has been AD for 20 years. This video was probably the best PCS/DITY video I've ever seen--even I learned a ton of stuff I didn't know. Thanks Tegan!

    On sep leave along with more than one acquaintance from my ship and none of us received our tickets home. Administration said they can't do shit. Had to pay out of pocket. All of us. That's like the one thing you are supposed to be guaranteed no matter how you leave. A ticket home.
