A very quick and cheap way to start a fire guaranteed in The Sims 2 is using a barbecue grill inside a (residential) house. Its almost too easy. But if you already have a evil witch in your household, why not Inflammo spell? I have to test that one right now.
I remember being a kid, getting the all of the Sims 1 games from my aunt because my cousin sim family died in a fire and she then hated it. Then my first Sim family died in a fire (Those screams are horrific for like a 8-9 year old). I litterally shut down the game, and just laid on the sofa for like 20 min. O_o the trauma
They died so easily in Sims 1. I remember you could get a pet and in my language it was a "Mamster" - some sort of rodent. It bit one of the kids and the kid died O_o
In Sims 4, there is acually a way to increase the chance to set the stove on fire while cooking. Clumsy, lazy and slob traits increases this chance by a quiet alot if u have them all in. With other expansions however, theres easier way to start a fire, however it means u need to reach ur wallet for those 😅
I love this. I’ve been playing sims 4 for a long time, but I recently reinstalled sims 2. I have accidentally lit my sims on fire and burned houses down SO easily. I miss the chaos of sims 2…
I've been playing a story in Sims 3 (as in, an adaptation of someone else's story) and have had to kill off several characters for plot. It's SURPRISINGLY hard. I was ready for an emotional send-off but she kept putting out the fire, and I eventually had to kill her by drowning, which also took forever for some reason. Meanwhile the sims I try to kill for being bad people (again, in the story) keep winding up with the unlucky trait. I need to stop adding that to people because, as unlucky as they are to be in this story, it's immortality in the SIms 3. 😭My method lately is a small box filled with cheap stoves, one fridge and one counter, and as many of those half-circle rugs as I can fit. Good news is that a fire basically always starts. Bad news is that it often doesn't kill people because they stay away from it, even if they don't put it out. The pool can take a long time too if the sim is stubborn and won't leave their one on-land square and get into their moat. Oh, and I forgot the sim who was supposed to die by electrocution. He got electrocuted SO MANY times in a row and retained the ability to zap people forever after that, but wouldn't die. I had to lock him with a bunch of broken electronics in puddles and it still took him forever. I believe I did use a cheat to bring him back (again plot reasons) which has the fun effect of making people he meets immediately start sobbing to mourn him.
in the sims 3, npc firefighters have the pyromaniac trait which is a hidden trait. they can set things on fire at will! and in the sims 3 supernatural, witches can set things and sims on fire
i never added a firefighter npc to the family but i played lucky palms, there is a sim phoenix ross, he has this hidden trait and all his children inherit this trait, they set things on fire but it never turned into a real fire. but they can turn apples into fire fruit, useful
In Sims 2, a chance of starting a fire via cooking is a measly 1%(unless you're a max level cooking, then it's 0) Lobster Thermidor however, always has 6% chance instead regardless of skill level And, in Sims 2, evil wizards can set things on fire
I NEVER got fires in my sims 4 game and I’ve had it since release. I created a new sim and she kept setting her starter home on fire (at least 3 times) by cooking then 2 more times in her new home… she’s cooking level 5 🤦♀️
I always hear everyone say how hard it is to start fires in the sims 4, & how it’s even harder to have them be killed by it - but I can’t even count how many times my dumbass sims have started fires & died bc of it 😹 but tbf, I have a lot of mods that make my sims chaotic as fuuuck, & most of them have ADHD (so we can match 💁🏼♀️✨); so in those settings, VERY easy 🔥🔥🔥 idk why my sims always end up being so feral. I guess they’re all just like their maker 🥲 proud moment
This is a very scientific video. Expect the Sims 1 dude was committing some serious witchcraft as there's no other way he cooked that much food without a fire 😂 Just beautiful content yet again 🤌✨👌
Omg sims 4 earlier yesterday I finished off my build in granite falls and my sim was lonely so I invited a friend and she cooked and started a 15 min fire my poor sim had to extinguish himself 8 times and the kitchen is just burnt wood and I can’t afford to replace stuff well that’s what I get for inviting a friend on holiday 😂🥴😤
Ryan saying that he's reluctant to kill a kid yet his too many kids live tells a completely different story 🤣
Ryan: "Don't cry you can see her soon."
Me: Oh, that's so sweet!
Also me: Oh, wait... 💀

you forgot to buy and abandon a dragon egg in sims1 to get a red dragon that sets fire to literally anything it can reach
I was thinking I should have got a dragon but I didn’t want to do too many different ways to start a fire 🤣
@@ryanplaysthesims you were looking at the easiest way, a red dragon is pretty much a certainty
@@ryanplaysthesims oh but you should. Like „54 ways to start a fire in the sims 1”

When I was a child, I hated the creepy prank calls in Sims 1, but most of all, the sound effect when there's a burglar
Idk how Sims 1 lasted so long I remember as a kid making a game and immediately starting a fire the second my sims went to cook lol
Other Sims 4 packs also make it easier to start a fire, like lighting a firework indoors with City Living and using the fire spell from Realm of Magic

I never knew this! I have a feeling I’ll be using this a lot more 💀
Yep, one of my Sims would start a fire seemingly every 3 days because of this. So he got banned from cooking.
I love this. I’ve been playing sims 4 for a long time, but I recently reinstalled sims 2. I have accidentally lit my sims on fire and burned houses down SO easily. I miss the chaos of sims 2…
Christmas tree lit up in sims 2 and fireplace in sims 3 always start fires for me lol
That Christmas tree was lethal! I’m just trying to have a peaceful family Christmas without a fire for once 🤣
Love the videos Ryan. I like that you play the older Sims games and not as much of The Sims 4. I love the Sims 1 nostalgia!
Thanks! I’ll always love the old games
Ryan is a pyromaniac 🔥😂

I am not a psychotic irl, but I am downright a psychopath playing the Sims 💀☠🤣

The first sims I remember everyone having a very short temper.
I guess I am a psycho for enjoying the video lol. I couldn't help it. It brought back good memories of playing the sims.

The Crawford family ❤love them miss them 😊

Whaaaat?! Get her on the gallery, I need to download her for her fire causing genetics 💀

Love your videos!
Thanks Breanna! ☺️
I love killing off swims by fire o r swimming
If you want a fire in Sims 2 just buy a Christmas tree. It will burn, its just a matter of waiting. I gave up celebrating Christmas in Sims 2.

You know I love a methodical approach to the sims, especially when it comes to death 💀
Thanks desaun!
Blair gave final girl vibes and by God made it happen.

Thats so unluckily because its so hard to start a fire in the sims 4 😂 I love it though, the drama is what I need
The roomies house is my least favorite!!!
That Nike sweater is the real fire 🔥It's always such a pleasure to see the fire lord doing the thing he does best - burning sims in various ways 😆
Hahaha thanks Irina! I’m going to adopt that nickname full time
