DCI Drum Majors are, without a doubt, the heartbeats of the corps they lead, and amongst this latest group of outstanding people are surely many of tomorrow's brightest makers, both inside and outside the activity. Charlie Ly, however, stands out and deserves special recognition IMHO. His steadfast service and exemplary leadership as drum major for Gold has positively impacted the lives of countless hundreds of drum corps performers here in Southern California over these last many years, and 2025's new cast members are already fortunate to have him at the helm again. That being said, these fine individuals are ALL the model for our kids on tour this season, and they are all exceptional. Can't wait to see them in action!
