Here’s a crazy idea for Epic. Make different LTM’s and game modes so everything isn’t thrown into BR all at once. All these mythics are kinda wild. You would think after this Disney deal they would’ve gone full overdrive with tons more options/game modes for players. They have the money. I like this series Jake and appreciate the discussion. Seeing from another player’s perspective is key in becoming a better player yourself. 💯
chapter 5 season 1 was the best. turtles mythic dashing, grapple hooking and shockwaving your way out of the damocles reaper snipe shots was a thriller like se7en. simpler times

Ever since I feel like the strange gameplay balancing decisions got more and more questionable.
Unless you get a really good player, these spectate videos are gonna boil down to who gets the auto aim combo plus jetpack. Hopefully they don't wait till November 2nd to change this meta around

It's not just you, I liked Wrecked the moment It came out, the problem with this season was the damage of the gloves and Magneto, but even still, It was more enjoyable than this Imo

Trying to use the Monarch pistol in a jetpack fight is such a sad decision. I used to die early because I got a really cool mythic weapon I wanted to use, but it wasn't the right weapon for the job. Nowadays I rarely pick up mythics because none of them are modded for my playstyle.
honestly, I don't think they should nerf the auto-turret or the iron man gloves (though i do want to see recharge and fire rate nerfs for the latter) but instead they should make it so you can't carry both at the same time. even if either one gets nerfed, the loadout would still be annoying to play against

I've seen a lot of people complain over the gauntlets, and they are broken, but the strikers in game right now just outdps the gloves, you just gotta pick your battles
Seems to be a pattern, release a new item that is OP, then release a balance patch shortly after. The shield was OP then got nerfed, the arsenal was OP then got nerfed... just waiting on the ironman glove nerf.
Jake seems to ignore the fact that many, if not most players are doing busy-work and quests while playing and using some specific combination of weapons are often one of the KPIs :) So using the Monarch gun-thingy for eliminations was one of them.
cant wait for epic to remove the iron man stuff from ranked or nerf it significantly if they keep pubs and ranked with the same lootpool, the game is at a stupid point rn where u cant have a competitive match besides cups or tournaments

I got my first victory royal today because of the iron man gloves so yeah definitely impactful. But I've also been killed while jetpacking with the gloves so they aren't so over powered that they can't be defeated.
Was the jet pack spawn rate buffed? Cus i was playing with my duo yesterday and in one of our matches we found 6 jetpacks, 3 being from a regular/epic chest
Overall regular br is mid, regardless of iron man items having to need a jetpack to win aint it, reload however right now is awesome and has a very solid loot pool. Chilling with around 300 wins this season 10kd, im having fun in either mode tbh though, just gotta make the most if it and dont take it to serious👍
It would have been better to just unvault the lock-on pistol. In my experience the jetpack has become useless now. Never carried one but I'd still take some losses to jetpackers, now using the Iron Man gloves I've never lost to someone who was using a jetpack (and I don't like that, it's not satisfying haha). Only players I've lost to now are other Iron Man glove/flight users. I knew when I saw this season's trailer that it was going to be the worst one yet....this is coming from someone who's favourite season was Wrecked (post-balancing).
i win almost every game now if i get early gloves and jetpack but if you dont find it you can just quit the game because its so hard to play against it.
I'll just say I get the frustration with the Aim n shoot gun players think fn puts the gloves into serve other players who aren't as good or play on phones they're paying customers they have to keep them in the game instead of getting mopped up by shooters. Don't get mad it's an added challenge find a way to counter it. I have over 500 victory's on a phone trust me shooting is a challenge but I adjust.

Gloves are a godsend to deal with jetpacks. Especially since they nerfed the jetpack drop rate. Iron man items saved the season. The issue all the youtubers are having is you actually have to play smart against the gloves instead of jetpacking in like a chimp on meth. Play like its a battle royale instead of nuketown and youll have a better time.
Love the update I rock jetpack the full iron man kit with 2 pairs of Ironman gloves an auto turret and both Medallions. Just fly around above them drop down ontop engage jetpack and hover just out of shotgun range and light them up ,Great fun 👍 😊. Oh and dont bother risking attacking the bosses just let them do the hard work then easily kill winner of the medallion by tracking them on map

I like the ironman mythics. The aim asisst and somewhat long range is good on the gauntlets but you can't rely on them completely. The boots are good too but you can't run with them from a close range fight. I really like having the ironman boots and the warmachine jetpack.
12:18 yeah he died 5 seconds later because he wasted a ton of time in the bunker for no reason, but just think of how impactful for the rest of the game it would have been if that one random Flowberry fizz that he wasted were no longer available to the rest of the lobby. Practically a free win
i lost to a very skillful player last night in ranked that got 10+ kills using the iron man gauntlets. he didnt miss a shot on me. They need to remove them from ranked its basically aim bot oh and in this video the last player used the same cringe strat

Jetpack air fights are so irritating, especially with turrents and iron man fists. It doesn't feel satisfying to me even if i win the fight.

I like having Shuri's claws but they are absolutely hopeless against all this flying around. I dunno why they are in the game.
I'm the type who adapts, and keep having fun. But those ironman gantlet are just a aimbot, i just can't win. I don't like this season.

It will spectate a random player for you. I haven't died to a henchman yet but have died a few times in the storm haha and I assume it works the same.

I like the iron mythic but the emp does nothing against it… I hit a dude with 3 of them and it did nothing.

Emps only work against War Machine weapons like auto turret and War Arsenal.

If you activate the forecast tower while the guards are alive and unaware they will get alerted and come running straight to you.

Using the iron man gloves I got a 22 kill win. I usually get about 8-10 kills and end up in 2nd.
