Hi John. The wrench adapter is designed for connecting power handles of all kinds, with or without a ratchet. To measure correctly with a torque wrench, the line that connects the screw head, to the torque wrench head needs to be at 90 degrees to the handle of the torque wrench. I think maybe this is not what we see at: 5:20 In your demonstration the length of the adapter was added to the length of the handle, which created a greater torque than what the torque wrench measured. But maybe I'm wronge.
Its not the battery. These bikes are notorious for having a slow starter speed when turning over. The only way to fix it is to replace the wires going to the starter and ground with a beefier lower gauge wire. MaxAir Engineering makes an 8 gauge kit for these bikes. It solves the slow starter issue.
@@Mott31R1 I haven't done it personally, but Paul Darrigo has a video doing the install and it totally solves the problem - th-cam.com/video/Hpj4xpYU8m8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=xEKsBNm-YZneogTI

Another great Raider video! Awesome camera angles. Keep the Raider videos coming please.
You got it!
If you have old yamaha tools it will fit. I had a 89 venture and the wrench fit without modifying it
Thank you so much. Your videos are so helpful. I learned a lot from you. Now I save money doing myself. Great 👍 work sir

Think the swivel action of the SnapOn TW might be skewing the perceived angle at that moment.
Best video out there for the raider
Thanks! We have more on the way!
@@PartzillaParts one on fork seals would be greatly appreciated!
Your videos are always so informative and on point! Thanks so much for your help!!!
Thanks for the great info!
Great video! Bike shopping lately, any year I should stay away from?
Great video, thanks
What about loosening the oil gallery bolts when you intitially start it after you fill it up?
Why the hell are theyre 3 drain plugs?
Hello. What is the brand torque wrench?
5.2qts or 4.9 liters to be exact ..
I see he used 10w40?
I've always used 20w50. Better for summer high heat, I thought. I don't ride in cooler weather. Should I be running 10w40 ??
No you are fine
I let my oil drain for many hours including tilting the vehicle side to side. Do this and your oil will stay clean for alot longer
Sounds like the ol battery is getting a little tired
Very. Was replaced in the next video!

@@beefcake666 Have you seen the results of this? does it make that much of a difference? my bike always lugs even with a new battery.

Procedure is the same for the Stratoliner and Roadliner as they have the same engine…
