The 20th anniversary edition of the #6 yellow tile allowed you to use any combination of 2 workers or coins to buy any hex tile from anywhere on the board. It looks like you didn't give everyone the coins for their mines at the end of phase E. This may or may not have altered the finishing order of some of the trailing players.
Very nice playthrough. The special edition is nice, but 3x the cost of the previous edition (which has the same gameplay except for vineyards) is a lot ...
I've done a number or good searches and can't find it. I actually think it was the default tutorial video on bga. Please give me the link if'n you can find it.
Commenting early... I've twice heard mention of a knowledge tile allowing taking "a" good (implying just one) from an adjacent depot when placing a blue tile (presumably meaning the boat). I was under the impression that knowledge tile allowed all goods if storage existed for them. Admittedly unlikely to be much of an issue with four players, but certainly could be very different in a two player game.

My friend was bringing Castles of Burgundy to teach tonight but then a newer gamer RSVPed, so we went lighter and I haven't played it yet.

At end game scoring I think you have to produce with your mines to add points for gold coins (and possibly workers)

Do the acrylic tiles come as standard with the special edition of the game or a separate purchase?
No details of exactly what is in the game is available yet, but my guess is the acrylic standees are the default.
