Absolutely lovely! I love Christian, pop and classical music.... Each has so much to offer. If I remember correctly, there was some opposition to the collingsworth family leaving the church camp and revival arena for the stage as some people call it. I grew up in a church where the pianist was only allowed to use 2.5 octaves on the keyboard. I was and still am a pianist. But not at that church! A very wise, older, respected pianist told me during that time...."God has given you your talent. (I was 14) You need to use ALL of it and play it ALL as he has given you." If in 2000, the c family wouldn't have stepped out of the box.... Some of you would not be able to complain about this hurting their outreach... Because their out reach would not be where it is today. Just saying.... We don't know where God is leading. U.S. is in a mess because way to many of the past generation failed to step out. -Vicki

Just came across the channel and loved the covers you all have done. I have been a fan of your family group but this is great too. I hope you have another one up soon. You asked what covers next, may I suggest a couple. How about a Monkees song, Pleasant Valley Sunday or Door Into Summer. The Summer song was covered by a Christian Rock group years ago, Jacob's Trouble. They did a great job on it. If you want a duet from an animated film, how about Somewhere out there from American Tail. Whatever you all do, I will waiting! Thanks.

Bill McAllister Hello Sorry I do not agree. There are two kingdoms. There is the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of light. There is the secular world view and a biblical world view. Of, course God can use anything He is God. But the scripture says We are a chosen generation, A royal priesthood a holy nation a people Called to show forth praises of him who has called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. It’s called living for the glory of God, it’s called loving Jesus with all your heart,soul, mind and strength. It’s called seeking first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness. Also, the scripture talks about what they are singing in heaven, holy holy holy. Jesus paid an awesome price for our salvation. So why do we sing praises to him, why do we lay down our life for him because he is Savior and Lord! . It’s the difference between living for self and living for God. It is Not being critical. It’s being truthful. Many blessings to you.
Hello again Also, I listen to the Collingsworth family music. I bless the Collingsworth family. I pray for the Collingsworth family and I give their CDs away to other people. Have you heard of Whitney Houston who grew up in the church, who could’ve used her incredible talent for the glory of God. So, as someone who loves God and loves his kingdom and sees incredible talent and incredible people. Let us exhort one another to live by faith, in faith for the glory of God. Jesus is the glory of God. And The anointing that is on the Collingsworth family is what is incredibly precious. The anointing is what heals people and sets people free from sin and sorrow and sadness. It’s about the message, it’s about salvation! It is about JESUS!
Esther Joy .. none are so blind as those who refuse to see. I was raised in the Salvation Army. our founder took the songs of the day, changed the lyrics and sang them on the street corners. The reason, people could relate, people were attracted to what they knew, then when the people gathered, he brought Gods word to the people. God uses the gifts of his people ..... these wonderful singers. If a soul is attracted by the song and is then lead to the Collingsworth family songs and hears the word, then this cannot be wrong. My late Father has a saying that, I really think applies to you, it’s this ... “There are some people who are so Heavenly that they are absolutely NO EARTHLY GOOD” instead of being negative over this great music, get on your knees and pray that God will use it ......
Hello Yes, God again can turn all things around for our good and His Glory! But there is such a thing called compromise and mixture! I do not agree with the saying to be too heavenly minded and no earthly good. I have heard that saying in my 34 years of being a Christian and that is just not true at all. God is good God Is Holy God is love. The Bible says to think on things above, to set your affections above. Psalm 1 says to meditate on the word day and night and then God will make your way succeed. So, let’s just agree to disagree. Blessings!
