Perfect bitcoin strategy. You can't time the market. Saylor's Prague presentation on this is golden. Since altcoins are way more pumpy and dumpy those require an exit strategy. While selling bitcoin is selling the winner for a loser.

I think Dave is actually thinking right here. imo at the moment BTC is more likely to go < 50k (don't want to spread FUD, but some simple calculations, and my intuition tell me it can go as low as 4-7k in case of some swan event). I've been following 3 parabolic moves already since 2016 and looking back - makes more sense to buy after 70-90% crashes then buying whenever because every great investor says "you can't time the market". It's one thing to put 1billion in it and waiting 3-4 years for a 50-200% return (which applies to very few "investors"), but let's be honest - most small investors want to put 20-50k in it and grow it at least 10x. If you invest 10k USD at 60kUSD/BTC and it goes to 90k you only make 5k profits. The time frame can be 1-2 years but it can also be 4-6 years (in case you buy in the bear market). Now if you invest same 10k when it falls for instance to 10k, and then BTC grows to 80k+ - you make over 700% profits. It's a huge difference between 70k and 5k imo. You don't have to rush, there is always opportunity in something undervalued.

Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.
In my opinion the strategies are quite rigorous for the regular-Joe. As a matter of fact, they are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skillset/knowledge to pull such trades off.
Exactly with the current market trend My advice to anyone starting out in the market is to seek guidance as its the best way to build long term wealth while managing your risk and emotions with the passive investing strategy

Peter is either the face of every too old to get it person with any technology…or yea, that’s basically it. There is always a chance he’s right but we know in theory Bitcoin is a much better gold. It’s no contest regarding how they both work. But there is always a chance Peter gets lucky and everyone stops caring about Bitcoin. Anything is possible.
So what do you think about Elizabeth Warren's proposal to tax Bitcoin holdings above $500K at 1%? This is really a step towards confiscation of capital. 1% then what? I think that taxing unrealized capital gain or capital itself is unconstitutional, but I am not a lawyer.
