Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 750 k just in a matter of days/ weeks, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

Can certainly see the case for Pharma/Healthcare, energy of all sorts and metals. Bitcoin went up a lot last year and often when that happens the following year not so good. Of course that also depends on your longer term outlook. I wondered about infrastructure, though that often involves the Government who are shall we say not the best partners. They seem more concerned with opinion polls rather tha strategic thinking. Still if the Labour Party get elected at the next UK General Election, the case for buying oil/gas shares improves. No more North Sea licenses means more oil/gas wil haveto be imported when the inevitable shortfall comes about. And of course if you've invested in renewables and they improve even quicker than expected, you are hedged against oil/gas.
More broadly with Trump the current favourite for the Presidency, what do others see concerning US prospects. If the tariff regime I've heard about comes in - keep putting them up until the trade deficit is gone - I'd say pretty bad.

2 months into my turnaround of life. I can definitely feel more optimistic of the future. There's still a lot of bad habits to get rid of (which have been coming down) on top of the bad habits I have already stopped doing.
And with money, I feel I'm in the anxiety stage now as seeing my money move differently towards a different goal is so satisfying. Seeing "less" money in my main bank account is starting to feel a little unsettling, however, I know the reason for this, is because money is going into savings and investments which are for the moment, generating small returns that I intend to build up overtime.
So it's not money I am losing, it''s money that's working for me.
It will always feel difficult and small when you first start but I know what the end goal is and keeping the discipline to keep going toward that goal and I am still in my immediate mindset and not stopping on goals that I know I can achieve and immediately taking the first step to get started.

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Find quality stocks that have long term potential, and ride with those stocks. I have found it takes someone who is very familiar with the market to make such good picks
