- Watch as Thomas D. Mangelsen takes to the air in search of Grizzly 399 in the Teton Wilderness. Two weeks later she and her tiny triplets make their first appearance near Pilgrim Creek in Grand Teton National Park.

Such a lucky man to have taken a caste of Bear 399. And another caste with a tiny foot besides Mom’s. Wonderful souvenir of this prolific & good bear Mom 399.

Hi Thomas, I just arrived here to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone to shoot wildlife photography for the next 4 months. My first week in the park was incredible since I had the honor of seeing 399 for my first time as she toted around her new 4 cubs. I look forward to watching your videos and reading your book. Having just visited yellowstone and had to bypass Teton this has been a beautiful few minutes. Saw a couple of black bears in the far distance in Canada, but none in Yellowstone...so thank you for sharing your amazing videos
