- I meant to say I can't recommend this to beginner or novice drivers. This car is a weapon and is epic for advance users. I'll definitely correct the CG before running on any type of surface.

Thanks for your review. It would be interesting to see how it can be improved. I am thinking of shorter shocks, softer springs and on-road tires might help.
Short shocks and on-road tires yes, but probably thicker shock oil or stiffer springs, by then, just get an Armma Vortex
Changed out the original wheelie bar for the longer one that comes on the 16207 buggy and added 15mm hub extenders and it helps alot with the stability . Tyres are abit to grippy on road surfaces but off road this thing is a Monster . Love this truck 😊
extender is a good idea, not sure how well they will hold up
@@customtoyrevolution I ran my MJX Hyper Go 16209 with MJX 14210 tyres that I ordered to run on it, it handled a lot worse than with the stock 16209 tyres, so it looks like the MJX 14210 will benefit from a good set of aftermarket tyres.
The rubber compound and design (Arrma, lol) from 1/16 hyper go are the best tires I've ever know. Even good on pavement is insane. The tires from 14210 is actual very good but only and only for offroad lose dirt@@philiprccars4340
@@customtoyrevolution Yup, I ran my MJX 16209 on the 14210 tyres I ordered for it, a lot of flipping but sooo much fun and the 16209 sounds like a beast with the bigger 14210 tyres, love the low rumble they make on the paving!!! But slam the throttle to quick and it does both a complete forward and backward flip in motion, absolute carnage for the poor body LOL!!!
Put shorter springs and add a piece of fuel line inside all the shocks to limit the down travel, so that the droop is same front and rear. That's it, it will sit lower and with the right amount of droop

Put paddle tires on ....makes world of difference!! I also lowered mine and now have shorter shocks on order coming today.

I just got one for my son today and the throttle stops working after a few seconds, steering and lights keep working but ESC flashes slowly and throttle doesn't respond. Has anyone experienced that too?
Check transmitter battery and perform a new pairing/binding. Perhaps return it

I think your battery is dead
It’s kinda like a cheap stunt truck. Not really meant for high speed street runs. Mine double backflips and front flips off the smallest of ramps. Buy a Rlaarlo and put foams on it
I bought this and ran it on hard snow 🇳🇴. Instantly lost rear drive from a lost grub screw in rear axle.
Fixed that and lost steering after 2 minutes, opened the body to find that it was ABSOLUTELY PACKED with slush.
Made it snow proof and went to install ESP/GYRO... But: The whole receiver box is full of hot glue.
Other than that, a SUPER awesome car 👍👍
(The 3S battery has no use in snow as it will absolutely cut out in the esc)

This is wrong. The car was not meant for asphalt or "speed-runs" which most of small scale drivers seem to think. Like wltoys buggies... ok they can gonfast but they are not built to crash.
Like the MJX, it is built to crash, not to speed...
And don't forget what you paid for it.
It is a really beautiful truck especially for it's price.
(Have you seen the INSANE drive-train on this thing???)
That's why I said this car is for advanced users. Not complaining, just stating the facts and as I say, this car got very good potential, even for on-road, just not in stock form.

at 1/14 its more competing with wltoys. and those things are great fun with fat tires on. but of course they're going to have a lower ride height
If you can find a good set of tires for this it won't do any traction roll. For example if you put on the paddle tires it handles great new traction roll nothing give it a try. You will like it and you will keep them paddle tires on until you found a good set of tires for it.
I really prefer the 16208, more easy to open as well
yes, it's an overall better design in stock form
16208 is good I put some 200k in the diffs, a skid plate and got some springs from the 16510R shock assemblies on the front to level the truck out keeping the preload screws at the top of the shocks. Added some tail lights as well. Its a fun truck for the money for sure.

124008 for beginner to advance, an all rounder, upgrade and part advantage. This one is for advance user only IMO

IT SUCK STOCK , BUT SO DOES THE KRAYTON... SO STEP ONE UPGRADE THAT TRASH AS SERVO , STEP 2 BUT A DUMBO RECIEVER & TRANSMITTER. SEE IF THAT HELPS WITH HANDLING & OVERALL CONTROL OF THROTTLE... GOOD LUCK I BET MINES GO 50 OR BETTER.
Agree, this one is not for everyone. Tinkers would love it, but for the $, I rather get an Arrma Vortex
I GOT MINE FOR ABOUT $136..
The mini infraction from MJX is epic.. but this 14210 is a piece of crap. Cant even drive it properly. Annoying delay in the transmitter/esc. Als my front diff has blown and I didnt even bashed it or crashed it. Just running it down te street.
Also working on it is so bad. No hex screws.. not build to make it easy to work on it.
Ill stick to my Traxxas nd Arrmas. No chinese crap for me anymore. Some are fun untill they break
I think you got a lemon, get it exchanged. Arrmas that I got have quality issues too. Even so, you will still need to make some mods to make it great as I said the stock form is not tuned well.
